  • This is ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE DIVINE MERCY VIDEO! I'm going to make it my 3 o'clock prayer whenever I'm at a computer.

  • Praise be to God!!!

  • Prime time?? I'm talking about REVERENCE? Praying with REVERENCE...not rock n roll'n to what should be a solemn practice in praying. This is so far from Catholic Tradition from truly holy music like Gregorian Chant, Byrd, Palestrina. Your rock'n only Takes away any and all contemplation of prayer and is rather being focused on that noisemaking. Have some respect!

  • David danced in front of the ark of the covenant IN AN EPHOD with a BAND accompanying him. Michal, King david's wife, not understanding her husband's motive, and thinking he had lowered himself before the people, reproached him bitterly, and despised him in her heart. But David's motive for rejoicing was pure.

  • Don't forget also, that David was a man after Gods own heart in the Lord's own words Acts 13:22

Just because you don't understand what these kids are doing, doesn't make it bad.

A drummer drumming for the Lord is a worthy gift.

  • All my comments have been taken from Scripture.

Is there any scripture that forbids playing stringed instruments or singing to God?

    I think not.

  • why is rock and roll not reverent...I think Jesus appreciates all prayer. This is a way that reaches to our generation. I do like the other version better though :)

  • Watch EWTN and see how reverently they sing the Divine Mercy. Not a bunch hoop-la like this.

  • Yes, I have seen it sung, and also just ready beautifully, and I love the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I also used to play an instrument back in the day when I was in school, so I can appreciate that this is a learning and growing experience for these kids. Even if you don't think they're ready for prime time, give them time, and one day they will be.

  • Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax-collector. 11The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus, God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax-collector. I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all my income.

  • This is the Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord, Jesus Christ.

  • Amen ~ Alleluja!

  • your suppose to PRAY the Divine Mercy PRAYER, not rock n roll to it. How holy is that? Nothing but NOISE which distracts from the contemplation one gets in the silence within, while contemplating "quietly" the words which you are "praying". The devil Loves to distract and take away a good and Reverent Prayer(ing).

  • But the tax-collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner! I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other; for all who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted.

  • Luke 1:18

  • Thank you.... We will. And God Bless you too!!!

  • "Blessed are the merciful for they will obtain mercy."

    You kids keep it up!

  • Of another vision on Sept. 13, 1935, Sister Faustina writes:

"I saw an Angel, the executor of God's wrath... about to strike

the earth...I began to beg God earnestly for the world with words

which I heard interiorly. As I prayed in this way, I saw the

Angel's helplessness, and he could not carry out the just

    punishment...."

  • The following day an inner voice taught her to say this prayer on

    ordinary rosary beads:

"First say one 'Our Father', 'Hail Mary', and 'I believe'. Then on

the large beads say the following words:

'Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity

of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement

for our sins and those of the whole world.'

  • On the smaller beads you are to say the following words:

'For the sake of His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the

    whole world.'

In conclusion you are to say these words three times:

'Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us

    and on the whole world'.

  • Jesus said later to Sister Faustina:

"Say unceasingly this chaplet that I have taught you. Anyone who

says it will receive great Mercy at the hour of death. Priests

will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most

hardened sinner, if he recites this Chaplet even once, will

receive grace from My Infinite Mercy. I want the whole world to

know My Infinite Mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to

those who trust in My Mercy...."

  • "....When they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I

will stand between My Father and the dying person not as the just

judge but as the Merciful Savior".

  • you don't need a rock n roll band (which that is what it sounds like). Get back to Holiness and Reverence! This is exactly like Protestanism/Pentecostals. With that noisiness background it only takes away from any contemplation on what you are suppose to be PRAYING!

  • Well Bill, to me it appears to be a Divine Mercy conference, and these kids brought their instruments, so the youth leader is teaching them how to do a Divine Mercy song. He seems very kind and encouraging, and sings well.

  • what the heck is this??? Either you want a concert or you want to pray! Get real!

  • "What the heck is this???"

Well, its people singing the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and I think the gentleman leading it has a beautiful voice.

  • I think Jesus likes it.

  • Thank you for not picking up stones to throw.

  • Huh? This seems more like a performance than anything.

  • I think before you do and praising the Lord, please pray first to the Holy Spirit, to guide you and make the chnating of the chaplet more blssed and holy. It is the Lord you are dediciating all this. so please be more holy in his presence.

  • Where is the Reverence here?

  • No kidding.

  • sweet! though im a protestent pentecostal christian i love comtemporary versions of catholic songs! My brother and I are doing this type of thing at a catholic church and doing other comtemporary songs! We are introducing to them new hillsong music!

  • I pray that people will get to know this great devotion and message.

  • it's like the hippie version! It deserves more respect than this! If you want to be Pentecstal then be Pentecostal. But that guy can sing!

  • Awesome, Ghandi! But the band is from Sacramento, not Fairfield. ;) But yeah, TMATTA!! Fr. Stan is the best!
