i seem to have the same thing, i never noticed it enough to tell my doctor, but now that i think about it, i have really bad acid reflux, almost every night even when i don't eat anything spicy or full of spices... do you think it could have something to do with the acid or esophagus (don't know how to spell that), maybe you should email Dr. Oz the doctor on TV that use to be on oprah, he probably would know what it is... if you find out, please advise. Sounds like an adrenalin overload, hence, panic attacks. I went for years in and out of hospitals, cardiologists and doctors to no avail. Started in my mid 30's. Very worrisome until one doctor explained that usually adreline overloads happen as you are resting.
Did you try checking your thyroid? I had the same thing happen out of the blue.. It was my thyroid. @Auseklis777 No-nothings been resolved. I had 2 alcoholic drinks in Vegas and I was up till 6:30 a.m. with rapid heart beats and couldnt sleep...so yeah I still get them. I also can get them during ovulation time of month too---so who knows.
My mom's heart does that too. If I were you, I'd be so scared and I would never tough alcohol again. It's just not worth it. Some people just can't tolerate alcohol. Listen to your body.
Alcohol depletes magnesium stores in the body which will cause increased heart rate. Combine this with being even just a little dehydrated and it's even more severe. Are you on any meds? If your on any meds with a diuretic in them then this could very well be the cause of your trouble. Check your potassium too! Make sure it isn't to high or to low.
Sounds like you have an allergy to carbs! Stay away from them if you can! I have to do that too. No vacations for me!! LOL!! I want to get into a NICE bathing suit too...by August, we're going on a biznez trip and I'll need to have "summer clothes" to wear and not be afraid to wear them! I had chronic acid reflux also. I cured it with a Candida cleanse believe it or not. It also sounds you may have an alergy to SUGAR and alcohol because alcohol acts like sugar....allergy!!!
Well I thought of you because I noticed when I'd drink, my heart would go crazy. Very scary too! I actually just went to the doctor to have my annual woman's visit, come to find out I have lyme disease. This is one of the many many symptoms! Let me know if your interested and I'll fill you in on the details. I prefer not to talk so public about it.
I've sent you an email Karen but I'm sure you have deleted it due to sooooo many emails about HCG. BUT are you still having these heart palputations? Let me know cause I am having those when I drink as well, but I did go to the doctor and know now why this happens.
@mbellebaby Sorry-lots of my youtube msgs. are not letting me answer-youtube is having issues like crazy right now. I can still get the palpatations-but rarely since I dont drink anymore or eat sugars...but no-they didnt go away.
Mamaclok.....I first saw your videos about 2 months ago and I decide to try the diet. Today is my third day on the protocol, my first VLCD day. I just want to ask you how did you felt the first few days. Today half day was ok, I had my tea, mid morning my toast and lunch ,my fish and salad. But, now I started to feel headache, horribly nauseous. Also want to ask you preload weight was 190, then post loading 195. So far today I'm still 195 as last night, is that normal?
Hi I don't know if you remember me from last year but you gave me alot of great advise! I lost 40 lbs last year. I am about ready to start another round next week. I am taking a different approach this time. I was so stressed last time about what personal products to use I think it consumed most of my day. I am throwing caution to the wind this time! I am going to use the same shampoo and soap, toothpaste and I am not going to worry about what cleaning products I use either. Best of luck to you!
First let me say "I am not a doctor." I would start by supplementing with the magnesium/potassium and exploring adrenal fatigue syndrome and see if you think that fits you. Saliva testing (cortisol levels) best way to check for adrenal fatigue. Check with your doctor and see what he/she thinks first. Integrative Med Dr's are the best to use. Just something to think about. Best wishes.
since this video is from December, did you go on the trip yet and how did you handle the food if you did go away or I should say how will you prepare while you are away
Hi mamaclok, I am just starting I'm on p2 day 3 i was just wondering if i was to lode in my first 2 days and is there a cirten time i should inject i have lost 3lbs 4oz in 3 days and if i have to intake all 500 cals in the day and can i split up my veggies and fruit like can i eat my one fruit as a snack and just eat my meat and veggie for lunch?? if u could help that would be great!! thanks so much
Most people do their injections first thing in the morning. You can eat your fruits whenever..but you are always to eat the protein + veggies at the same time.
mamaclok, I am having a very hard time sticking to the diet. this is my 2nd round, my question is do you know if highly highly purified hcg work better??
Thank you for your inspiration!! Are you still mixing your hcg with the c silver and B12? What is your opinion on those who have stopped using this method and switching to the wound wash?
Yes-I still mix the same. The only other mix I've tried other than that is the vodka and it stung me. The saline sounds really salty to me - ICK. It will still work the same-I think its just a taste preference.
I wanted to advice. I am on day VLCD #25 and i am down 15 lbs. I have been extreamly devoted and strict to the letter. But I have been plateauing a lot. I have ten to go so I am debating on a longer round but I was hoping you could give me some pointers and what to expect on loss for the longer rounds and on plateau expectations. Thanks I really appreciate all your help.
Hi Mamaclok...have appreciated your blog so much- praying you find your answer about your racing heart beat soon. Question- have you by chance invested in a BP kit; so you can monitor just what it's doing? Have you suggested to your doctor you take an alcoholic drink prior to a stress test to see whats happening? Try asking Dr Mercola- do a search....he has excellent information about the body systems.
In the past, between the age of 51 and 53 I had heart palpitations regularly. I had cardiac cath as well as a full cardiac work up. My heart appeared fine. However, I began to notice that when I was experiencing any internal conflict, the palpitations would start. This may sound crazy, but when I realized this was happening, I have made it a priority to be very aware of how I let issues affect me. Alcohol always made the palpitations worse. Stay true to your core values.
Mamaclok - you look GREAT!! Sorry to hear about your heart. Do you need medicine to get the heart rate to go down? My wife had a heart issue recently, and was diagnosed with SVT (Supra Ventricular Tachycardia). Her heart would go up to 130-140 BPM. She just had some sections of her heart cauterized to stop the weird signals from racing her heart. "Might" want to ask doc about that.
Don't sweat the minor weight gain. I KNOW you know how to drop it off! Have fun in Mexico.
While on the hcg did you stick to the 500 calorie plan? Also I know some people that have taken the injections and have experience hair loss and/or skin rash. Did you have these problems?
As for your racing heart. You may mention to your Dr. having your Autonomic Nervous System tested. If it is out of balance it can cause all sorts of problems including too much acid in the stomach.
Hi! I started hcg for the first time on Dec. 19th. I was so excited! I had to stop on day 16. I did not order off line, my doctor got it from a local pharmacy and he mixed it himself. I do not know if the hcg was bad from the start or if it got damaged during mixing. I was hungry from the start....then I was starving, weak and dizzy. My doctor says we can get new hcg but I dont know how long to wait before I start again. My doctor doesnt know either as I am the first to try hcg in his office.
Sounds like your Dr. doesnt have a clue as to how to mix it or give you any other advice about it. I'd say do this on your own with the help of other youtubers..there are MANY of us!!!!
You are correct, but he wants to learn and so do I. How long would you say I should wait to try again. On my husbands computer and cant figure out how to make a question mark! Its German!! LOL
This is where Im lost...If my hcg was no good, that means I was only consuming 500 calories a day for over 2 weeks. That would mean any weight I lost was from the wrong fat? (found it?) I just dont want to be hungry this time. Simeons said if you have dieted in the last 6 months you should stuff for a week. So what if you starved youself?
Its common to be hungry your first week. If you felt you were starving longer than that your hcg was no good OR you werent taking enough/or too much. Its ok to start again, as long as your hcg is in good order and you are eating the correct foods for the protocol etc. If you have any further ?'s please use my message option instead of commenting on this video-Thanks!
Im on my 2round..just a short one this time.I think dieting hollywood and atkins in maintainence is probably best. I really like the no sugar no starch, so I think I will stay there. During my 500 cal. can you drink diet 7up or sprite and how about sugarless gum during the vlcd? Would appreciate you input...thanks
I too have history of acid reflux and for years I would feel that my heart would come out of my chest while I'm just in bed. Every EKG is normal and now I'm almost convinced that it's never been my heart but rather my stomach that mimics the palpitation. It's as if you're boiling a pot of water or beans to the point where just vibrations in my chest along with the pounding sound would prevent me from sleeping.
I think I have heard of people using it with the b12 instead of the silver...but not sure if taking the b12 out of the entire mix is the best option. You can reverse my recipe by doing 13 ml of silver + 2 ml of the b12...that is hardly any b12 in a 15 day mix!!!
Hello....I'm not a nurse, and certainly not a doc but am 55 (almost 56) and over the coarse of my life I've found that the more I worry about something, the more symptoms I have....not saying it's in your head but maybe you pay "too much attention and get your heart going from that....like a panic attack"? My heart used to race and jump and finally I figured out it was ME worrying too much. Not trying to trivialize but relax, live, laugh, love & let go and have fun!! You look mavelous!!!
Karen-my girlfriend had your symptoms as well-her heart raced up to 230 bpm! Fortunately she was in Doc's office when that happened (also happening for "no reason") & she had all your tests mentioned as well. Doc did an ablation-it 'shocks' your heart into normal rhythm. Outpatient-took care of her problem. Check into it & hope this helps you-you've helped me! another Karen
Hey Karen so glad your back! You are the 1st person I watched that got me to jump on board. Look forward to seeing all your new VLOGS. Hugs and Kisses :) debi
Just a thought...try seeing an Electrophysiologist. My sister had a unique issue that no one could figure out. She ended up going to one of these guys and he figured it out in one visit.
I have the same problem with my heart racing when I eat sugar & I also have had all the tests. If you do find out anything please let me know. It really started when I would eat Jasons icecream. That was the only time it would happen. Then it has progressed to other sweets.
Have you had a T3 test and thyroid antibodies test? If not I'd have'm done. The THS test (standard thyroid test) is often misdiagnosed because it's not very in depth. You might look into having a acid test done to check your body acid levels. It's a simple saliva test. check it out. Try vinegar w 1/2 warm water 4 stomach acid. Pedialyte before drinking can help stomach. You might want to see a Holistic Doctor or Chiropractor. Best doctors for almost anything. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
I'm not a Doctor.. I'm on R5 getting ready for 6. I hang over at Happily Thinner After.(Beamer) We are brainstorming lots of New Age stuff there. I had a similar issues with Palpitations when I did Medifast and docs could not figure palpitations out.... I could see my chest palpitate.. I added Magnesium and the problem abated within 5 hours ! take Cal with Mag at ration 2:1... but try this! We all love you ... thanks for being a PIONEER! Brainstorming ideas and energy! come on over !
Not a Dr. or RN, but read a lot of Naturopathic based info. What you are describing is the effect of your body getting dumped w/ quick sugar. It responds w/ an acute insulin surge (too much) then leaving you hypoglycemic. Your body normally responds by the adrenals dumping cortisol into the bloodstream increasing glucose by breakdown of glycogen (liver)... so, I would suggest paying attention to these systems--liver, pancreas, adrenals, anything that inhibits these re: sugar regulation.
my daughter had the same surgery when she was 4 months old. It was done to stop her from vomiting because she had reflux and was aspirating it, so they did it tight on purpose. when she eats certain things or too much her body wants to burp or vomit she cannot. then her heart races and she tells us she feels like her chest is gonna pop or crack open. The only thing to do is take note of the foods and dont eat them. well thats what we were told by the kids hospital. she is now 3 btw. hth. :)
Cancun is my favorite place in Mexico! Make sure you see the Mayan Ruins and XCaret is fun (Especially if you bring the kids :) Sorry about your health issue. Wish I knew a doctor ask. :( ~Aileen
Hey Karen! Welcome Back to the world of Vlogging! I'm sorry I can't help you with your health issue..I wish I would have stopped myself from gaining the extra 15 lbs or 45 in my case.... oh well.. we win some , we lose some..=) Them suckers will be gone before you know it.. HCG Rocks! thanks so much for inspiring me to lose the weight.. if you would not have been so consistent with your journal.. I never would have started HCG.. for that I Thank you so much! take care and Happy Releases! ♥
well..since I went on that vacation, I was eating too much of the carbs and I really dont think I could eat that many and burn all of it off w/ exercise. I'm sure it would help, of course, but not 100%.
I too can control my weight no problem when I avoid processed carbs and sugars, add any breads or chips etc. and the pounds come back :( but at least I know what I need to do for my health. After the Protocol, (my life saver~) I stick to Eating Right for My Blood Type diet for life... As an O positive, it is very clear what my body can and cannot tolerate... Have the same heart issue with alcohol... I think it is the sugar straight to the blood stream.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR COMING BACK TO US SISTER! I too am doing a round dec. 27. I hope my last 30! lost almost 60 this last year, and thank you so much for your support and guidance ;) Merry Christmas.
i had the same problem i was on round one and i lost 20lbs and now am back where i started but ill be beginning again after the holiday. Is it a must that you take b12 on the diet? and do you sell it on the website still?
What a nice surprise! So glad to have you back. Thanks for inspiring me to lose my first 20 pounds. Don't have a solution for your issue, but I will be watching to see what kind of responses you get because I have a similar problem. My heart races (105 resting rate) in the evenings. I do have high blood pressure, but I have to take a separate med for the racing. Have had all the tests you mentioned and can't find the cause--most drs have said it's hormonal.
I think its very clear what the diagnosis is: you have "Sheeeiticantpardeenomo Syndrome". The treatment for this condition is ; back massages, foot and leg massages, and lotsaothahkinda massages from your hot lovin stallion husband...the Dr. has arrived, mmm-mm. As your Dr., I have scheduled your treatment to begin immediately, we don't want this condition to get any worse. We will just have to treat it agressively, as long as is needed, even if it means forever.
You think maybe u mite have a clogger arterie also with that issue u said at the begining it might be gastritis ulcer. Also with the heart pumping that way have you had your lungs checked and your high blood presure my dad had some of the things you mentioned he had infacima, high blood presure and asma. You mite want to have those things checked just to rule them out.thats if you havent already
Thank you so much for posting! I used to follow you everyday when you were starting and you inspired me. i check all the time in hope to see a another vlog from you and Today was a Surprise! I think you look great and your gain is not that big for as long as you have been doin it! Thanks again from a fellow HCGer who is also ultra sensitive to carbs and is contemplating one more round! Thanks again, Lori
WELCOME back mama so happy to know you are the person who inspired me the most to start my journey with hcg today is my p2 day 11 whoohoo nice to know theres some one walking next to me although you have all the experties,me im a newbie but better now than never right.Hope u feel better soon.HUGS
Glad to see a recent post from you. You were actually the reason I started this process. I was so impressed with your losses and watched most of your early vlogs which really got me interested in researching HCG. Thank you so much!!! If not for watching your journey on YT, I would still be 42 lbs heavier than my current weight. YOU ROCK!!!
I could be a food allergy. I seems to have those same symptoms (less severe though) when I eat things that my body doesn't agree with. I don't know...just a thought. Good luck on HCG!
Karen I get the bad heart palpatations with Tequila.... I am highly allergic to it... if I ever drink it, I feel like my heart is pounding out of my chest and I get really weak. Is it a specific alcohol? Hard liquor? Or any alcohol? You may have an allergy now, or sugar sensitivity.
Sorry to hear that.... I know what you are going through. I just have to stay away from the trigger.... evil tequila!
I wish it was just one kind of al-kee-hall. But its not. Believe me, I've tested! lol. I was reading about allergy to alcohol and its actually pretty rare soooo I'm thinking thats not it and its more of what my body is doing with it when I ingest it. whooooo knows!?!?!
It's good to hear from you. Good luck with the VLCD#11. Perhaps you should seek a second opinion regarding your heart palpitations. Try finding a heart specialist. Do research via the internet etc. Also, I wish you a joyous family vacation next year. Take care.
Hi! I have the racing heart when I drink alcohol, especially red wine. Doctors have decided it is a sort of "allergy" to the alcohol.( I did not develop this condition until the birth of my twins two years ago.) Maybe check that out? Keep us posted and good luck on your round and Cancun countdown. It is a wonderful place :)
Hi Karen. Thanks for creating another vlog, but sorry to hear your reason why. I have the same reaction to starches and sugars. I have found it's due to an abundance of candida yeast in my system. This causes the cravings. I will be starting a product called ThreeLac Probiotics to help rid my body of the candida yeast and therefore the cravings. I don't have an answer for your heart palpatations condition though.
Hiya Karen. Sounds somewhat like what we used to refer to as "Holiday Heart Syndrome" - basically a sentitivity to the toxic effects of ethanol. They might have advanced methods but as I recall the only way to avoid it is to avoid alcohol. Yeah, I know, total buzz kill for Cancun. HH
Did you say AVOID!? I hardly ever drink...but what is a woman to do on "Ladies Night Out"? huh? I'm getting tons of ideas and more things to look into since I posted this tho...I hope for a "cure" for this just like I did with my weight...hey I can dream-right?
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome baccckkkk....lol! Congrats on getting back on before it was more than 15pds and a Cancun trip... who wouldn't that motivate!!! Rock on!!
Hi Karen, I have the same trouble with carbs. I am on P3 and I have gotten off track and am trying to get back. I am new and do not have a web cam. love your vlogs. Thanks
Do you take the grassini or melba toast while on the protocol? I've heard people say that it helps so that you don't become carb-sensative, which it seems that you are. Glad to see you back! I missed your updates. I'm starting another round after Christmas. I hope someone can help you with your med issues. Maybe Dr. Oz. :)
No I dont do the breads on p2 at all. But this issue has been going on wayyyy before my hcg...so I dunno. Dr. OZ...lol...I watch his show and someone in his audience asked the same question I'm asking and he just gave some basic quick answer that didnt help. grrr. I was screaming at the TV.
Glad to see you here again. My husband has the exact same thing. Anytime he has too much sugar his heart races to the point that we think he's having an attack. We finally got a diagnosis from his cardiologist after 3 yrs of tests. Will get the name of the problem from hubby when he gets back to town tonight and send to your inbox. I am a little disappointed about your continued weight gain - but, I understand that we find out what works and doesn't for our bodies.
I'm sorry, my disappointment was not in you - I think you have given us all a clear path to follow through your commitment to the protocol. My intention, to convey that I was hoping that this would be a permanent way to not gain after completing the entire protocol. Please know that you could not disappoint me - we are all just learning our way thru this maze called - healthier, happier life - forever!
where do you get your hcg from?

Mamaclok.....I first saw your videos about 2 months ago and I decide to try the diet. Today is my third day on the protocol, my first VLCD day. I just want to ask you how did you felt the first few days. Today half day was ok, I had my tea, mid morning my toast and lunch ,my fish and salad. But, now I started to feel headache, horribly nauseous. Also want to ask you preload weight was 190, then post loading 195. So far today I'm still 195 as last night, is that normal?
Thanks

Hi I don't know if you remember me from last year but you gave me alot of great advise! I lost 40 lbs last year. I am about ready to start another round next week. I am taking a different approach this time. I was so stressed last time about what personal products to use I think it consumed most of my day. I am throwing caution to the wind this time! I am going to use the same shampoo and soap, toothpaste and I am not going to worry about what cleaning products I use either. Best of luck to you!
davidlovescolleen 1 year ago
First let me say "I am not a doctor." I would start by supplementing with the magnesium/potassium and exploring adrenal fatigue syndrome and see if you think that fits you. Saliva testing (cortisol levels) best way to check for adrenal fatigue. Check with your doctor and see what he/she thinks first. Integrative Med Dr's are the best to use. Just something to think about. Best wishes.

@Nubian1876 Does your Doc know that you have done all of this hCG and if so ... what does she think about it? I'm getting ready to do a first round.

Hi mamaclok, I am just starting I'm on p2 day 3 i was just wondering if i was to lode in my first 2 days and is there a cirten time i should inject i have lost 3lbs 4oz in 3 days and if i have to intake all 500 cals in the day and can i split up my veggies and fruit like can i eat my one fruit as a snack and just eat my meat and veggie for lunch?? if u could help that would be great!! thanks so much
Ilenemm 2 years ago
Most people do their injections first thing in the morning. You can eat your fruits whenever..but you are always to eat the protein + veggies at the same time.

mamaclok, I am having a very hard time sticking to the diet. this is my 2nd round, my question is do you know if highly highly purified hcg work better??
carrieha1 2 years ago
I havent found one brand of hcg to be better than others. Any should work the same.
mamaclok 2 years ago
Thank you for your inspiration!! Are you still mixing your hcg with the c silver and B12? What is your opinion on those who have stopped using this method and switching to the wound wash?
JenMcQuinn 2 years ago

Beverlyanner 2 years ago
Mamaclok - you look GREAT!! Sorry to hear about your heart. Do you need medicine to get the heart rate to go down? My wife had a heart issue recently, and was diagnosed with SVT (Supra Ventricular Tachycardia). Her heart would go up to 130-140 BPM. She just had some sections of her heart cauterized to stop the weird signals from racing her heart. "Might" want to ask doc about that.
Don't sweat the minor weight gain. I KNOW you know how to drop it off! Have fun in Mexico.
GyroplaneFan 2 years ago
While on the hcg did you stick to the 500 calorie plan? Also I know some people that have taken the injections and have experience hair loss and/or skin rash. Did you have these problems?
rgutube2 2 years ago
As for your racing heart. You may mention to your Dr. having your Autonomic Nervous System tested. If it is out of balance it can cause all sorts of problems including too much acid in the stomach.
mbrtz 2 years ago
My doctor doesnt know either as I am the first to try hcg in his office.
mbrtz 2 years ago
Sounds like your Dr. doesnt have a clue as to how to mix it or give you any other advice about it. I'd say do this on your own with the help of other youtubers..there are MANY of us!!!!
mamaclok 2 years ago
You are correct, but he wants to learn and so do I. How long would you say I should wait to try again. On my husbands computer and cant figure out how to make a question mark! Its German!! LOL
mbrtz 2 years ago
You only went 16 days, so you can start again anytime.
mamaclok 2 years ago
This is where Im lost...If my hcg was no good, that means I was only consuming 500 calories a day for over 2 weeks. That would mean any weight I lost was from the wrong fat? (found it?) I just dont want to be hungry this time. Simeons said if you have dieted in the last 6 months you should stuff for a week. So what if you starved youself?
mbrtz 2 years ago

Can I mix bacteriostatic water with the sublingual...I am scare to get my heart racing with he b12
sams272000 2 years ago

Just a thought...try seeing an Electrophysiologist. My sister had a unique issue that no one could figure out. She ended up going to one of these guys and he figured it out in one visit.
wdicke03 2 years ago
I have the same problem with my heart racing when I eat sugar & I also have had all the tests. If you do find out anything please let me know. It really started when I would eat Jasons icecream. That was the only time it would happen. Then it has progressed to other sweets.
MrGodisgoodtome 2 years ago

The only thing to do is take note of the foods and dont eat them. well thats what we were told by the kids hospital. she is now 3 btw. hth. :)

While maintaning if you did exercise and still eat some of those things would the weight still come back?
finacialfreedom 2 years ago
well..since I went on that vacation, I was eating too much of the carbs and I really dont think I could eat that many and burn all of it off w/ exercise. I'm sure it would help, of course, but not 100%.
mamaclok 2 years ago
I too can control my weight no problem when I avoid processed carbs and sugars, add any breads or chips etc. and the pounds come back :( but at least I know what I need to do for my health. After the Protocol, (my life saver~) I stick to Eating Right for My Blood Type diet for life... As an O positive, it is very clear what my body can and cannot tolerate... Have the same heart issue with alcohol... I think it is the sugar straight to the blood stream.
Be Well!

Hello Karen:

I don't have an answer for your heart palpatations condition though.
snorahs02 2 years ago
I've never tried the candida cleanse...sounds like a good thing to try so I can rule another thing out eh.

HH

Do you take the grassini or melba toast while on the protocol? I've heard people say that it helps so that you don't become carb-sensative, which it seems that you are. Glad to see you back! I missed your updates. I'm starting another round after Christmas. I hope someone can help you with your med issues. Maybe Dr. Oz. :)
