  • these birds are awsome,i live in leeds and see them nearly everywhere i go

  • amazing birds, great footage,,,not sure about the soundtrack, but what a thrill it must have been to see these awesome birds in ur garden,,, no kites here where i am,, but maybe a hen harrier or buzzard will visit my garden one day,,, had long eared owls nesting in the field beyond my garden a few years ago,,,

  • AMAZING!!!!

    I wish I was there

Red kites are by far my most favourite bird

  • Amazing!

  • Bear in mind when you feed the red kites firstly feed them in the afternoon, and not too much at once or they will become dependent and loose their ability to find food themselves, and secondly feed them raw meat on the bone if you can. Bits of uncooked chicken you don't want or if you're going the whole hog use whole mice.

  • Sick garden my dogs would love it

  • Great Footage Magnificent Birds!!

  • I have seen these birds right at the end of The Chilterns, Pegsdon Hills near Hitchin and they are appearing to be moving east- and undoubtedly the gamekeepers guns are twitching, as is their hands towards the tins marked Poison.....

  • beautiful birds, you really get an impression how big they are in comparison to the bushes and stuff :D

  • Great video - shame about the soundtrack

  • I might try feeding them where I live in henley (alot of red kites there) My garden doesn't have much runway space for them so might not work

  • wauuu, beautyfulll

  • whoah! these birds rule!!!!!!!!!

  • thats awesome!! i am a wildlife photographer and have yet to capture red kites! you are soooo lucky to have them feeding in your garden!!! amazing raptors!

  • Has a CGI look to me, looks cool though :)

  • awesome birds, awesome video!

  • fantastic, wish it was my garden:-)

  • Brilliant ! ~ how did you get slow motion footage and can I ask what camera ?

    Simon :-)

  • Wonderful. 5 Stars from Walter

  • Very cool! Such lovely birds! We used to live on the outskirts of Montreal, where the niger seed feeder for chickadees, finches etc. would sometimes become a chickadee feeder for merlins, which would be gruesomely fascinating, but we never got any show as spectacular as this!

  • Wow. Fantastic bit of film. Thanks for that.

  • amazing!! is the meat cooked though? lets not turn them into rats!

  • glad you enjoyed the kite film,it is raw meat I put out.

  • @nettlebedaccipiter What's the music that's playing in the background ?

  • What have you left out for them? Is it chicken? - I may try this as there are loads where I live.

  • its raw meat I put out,good luck !!

  • hey this is cool

  • Superb action. And who needs TV etc with this going on in the garden!

  • Fantastic, you have had a lot more luck than me. I can get them to come in occasionally but they are so unpredictable! What's your secret? Is that chicken they are eating? Even though it's not exactly an easy fly in/out they seem more than happy to do it.

  • Where about is your garden? Its amazing how such a large bird can fly down and be so agile in such a small area.

  • hi sean

  • Well its a fair distance from Wales, where theres loads of kites, btw do you know if there are any red kites in or near the west midlands? I live in stoke on trent
