  • dude great camera work. seriously great job

  • wow that sound is impressive as its falling to the ground! thats why i only do d power rockets they only cost like 30 bucks to made i dont care if they break lol. great vid

  • 1 an 1/2 word oh shi.....

  • WOW haha

  • Physics are cool. It impacted with essentially the same force required for lift off. My condolences for physics working that day.

  • .....

  • '

aww sorry about this model rocket V-2 was not open parachute

  • I like how you whisper "ow"

  • that was expensive!

  • now that...........was a replica of a V2 rocket!

  • wat kind of rocket was that

  • Nice bounce.

  • it definitely won the highest bounce award.....sucks it crashed :(

  • hell yea that fucker bounced good!

  • aawwwww! I felt that!

  • Put explosion materials and make warhead !!!

  • the sound of the rockiet was epic, especially when it falls d0wn^^. But a hughe bang was missing. Good Video

  • I love how the parachute deploys after it crashes LOL! thumbs up (Y)

  • In loving memory of the brave mice that died in this shuttle disatster

  • well, it was what the v2's were designed for I sopose, maybe the builder of this rocket followed the original v2 plans a bit to carefully :)

  • Lucky you didn't kill anybody

  • Ohhhh...time to bust out the shovel. Been there, done that.

  • the parachute was sarcastic:)

  • I like the whistling sound it makes when it's falling

  • Yep, I uploaded this in 2007, and I found the owner of the video...

Eclipserocketry's V2 Rocket takes a plunge, it was quarter scale and it flew in Cambridge (UK) at the East Anlian Rocketry Society launch site and both sets of electronics did not detect launch because the launch was so gentle!

  • May I ask you what type of fuel and engine was used? Oh, and the name of the rocket please ;) thank you!

  • Look liek a good weapon to be bombing nearest village :)

  • awesome it looks like a missile

  • @jerdaskater12 It WAS a missile!

  • That's what a bomb sounds like...right before it's about to hit you >:D

  • shit yeah that was cool!

  • It came down just like a real V-2, +10 points for authenticity :P

  • Houston we have a problem

  • you can hear it fall. wow thats amazing

  • PLOFF

  • My first rocket floated away on the parachute and was lost in trees. My second snapped the shock cord and fell to ground. It was much smaller than this one but made the whistling sound on the way down which was kind of cool.

  • fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff Bumb xD

    nice sound

  • Haha, that one person was like "It's fantastic!" as it was descending to the ground.

  • COOL

  • omg did u hear it it sounded like like ww2 bomb

  • lol... Lawn dart!

  • It did what it was made for cause and explosion on impact lol hello V2 duhh

  • There was no explosion on impact. Part of the rocket bounced into the air, which is a completely different thing. And that is not what is was made to do. If the rocket had worked, than between 20 and 25 seconds into the video, the nose cone would have come off and a parachute would have come out. The rocket would then descend under parachute and land safely.

  • COOL!!!

  • haha it sounds and looks like a bomb falling :P

  • hahaha that was awsome. Loved the whisle it made on the way down. Just like the ones from WWII type movies.

  • PRETTY FUCKING COOL !!!

  • needs a parachute...nice engine whatever it was/.....

  • it did have a parishute but it hapens a lot to rockets it just faled

  • lol dang, i still havent done an engine thatf lies more than 1.5 metres... dang

  • I ways double the black powder !!

  • Getting the darn chute to open is the hardest part of model rocketry.

  • ccoooooooollll!!!!!!!!!!

  • What was the diameter of the body tube, 7.5" , 10" ? What size engine did it have ?

  • cool

  • i liked the rocket...hear the sound when it was falling...

  • @RRFreaks

    idd realy nice :P

  • It blowed up real good

  • About how fast was that traveling?

  • Like 70 or 80 miles per hour.

  • aw that sucks dude.

  • Awesome dude!

  • That's some good camera work! It's not easy to track something moving that fast. The cameraman kept it framed almost the whole time.

  • Hey the real V2 was identical in its performance. Yours looked as though it exploded. Thanks for recording this..neat stuff

  • France is 3000 miles that way!

  • wow that was cool were you at feasta island

  • No, and also I wasn't there.

  • It's bad when the parachute fails to deploy.
