This Tornado tore my neighborhood up! I am about 1/2 mile from where it knocked down the 2 cooling towers at the electric company (BWL). Massive trees were twisted and thrown and Moores River Drive was closed down for over a week. It's hard to believe that only one person was killed when a camper trailer was thrown on top of a women as she was picking up her kids toys from the yard. The sirens did not go off in my neighborhood. The damage was amazing.
i was in a row boat in the middle of a lake when the storm hit, i dont think i've ever rowed so fast, and we had powerlines laying all over our street, it was intense
we where coming home heading towards this and we seen a funel cloud and then when we were like 1/2 a mile away frome home we seen right where the tornado came through.
my mom my dad and i were going fishing at the grandriver until we seen rain and winds gliding over the water no lie we were on the edge of the tornado it was scary but it headed to east lansing thank goodnes
