I like more the original version of Stefka Sabotinova, I just feel it more... full of life and it's definitely a song that can touch your soul. But this video is stunning after all.

Zar nije ovo izvorno goranska pesma: Se navali Šar planina? Doduše uvek je bilo i makedonskih i srpskih verzija, a što je makednosko to je i bugarsko za Bugare. A i samim Gorancima se često oduzima pravo na nacionalnu posebnos, svojata ih ko stigne, klasika za Balkan.
@aurelije you are right..... old folk song from the Balkan's exept that Bulgaria is not in the Balkans....and YES they say that Macedonians are Bulgarians, Greeks, Serbian.........so we have probably the only nation in thr world that can be 3 nations in same tima but not Macedonians as they are centuries ago. To bad they make history to reflect todays politics.
Oh, now I've found that a Bulgarian singer is involved in the project - Ralitsa Kashova. That's why it sounds so good... ;) (that was about the feeling it's sung with) ;)
I am amazed how a Bosnian band could perform such a great song from the Bulgarian folklore with a feeling... If the singer loosens her voice - it could really bring tears in my eyes, as Stefka Sabotinova does. :) Good work, go!
The song is very sad... it's about two young buddies - sheepkeepers, who where presses down under a stone in the mountain. The first of them sings a pray to the mountain: "Let me be the first one to go, 'cos my beloved girl waits me in the village", the second sings "Let me go, my old mum waits me home". At the end, the Mountain itself starts singing "I've got you guys... your girlfrind will wait you 'til tommorow, then they'll forget you, but your mother's gonna weeping till her death.

it is in bulgarian. planinata means mountain and prituri se is fall down ( not exact) so ''the mountain fell down''
