Let's see...

Angeal and Genesis(the dude in red) were childhood friends from Banora. They got into SOLDIER and made friends with Sephiroth blablablabla, until that fight thing when Genesis gets scratched, and the wound doesn't heal... later on you discover that Genesis, Angeal AND Sephiroth were experiments... hell even Zack becomes an experiment later XD
