Ah, the angry atheist. In my day atheists weren't angry at non atheists. We just couldn't believe anyone believed in God. You know, I got this crazy idea the other night. What if there is a god, but he's basically running a form of science experiment? Basically, he's testing people's intelligence and rational thinking skills. Atheists! I have a question . Do you believe in that god or gods does not exist? If so, based on what facts, experiments, reasons, evidence you can say that God or Gods doesnt exist? You would ask from one who believe in a God or Gods based on what evidence he/she believe that God exist? what evidence do you have to make yourself believe that God doesnt exist? A large number of atheists come into the conclusion that the claims made by different religions do not offer enough(or any) evidence to their supernatural claims. Therefore the default rational position is to not accept them until this evidence has been provided. This defines the agnostic atheists position.

Atheism is not believing in a God or Deity, nothing more. If someone asks you "Do you believe in God?" and your answer is anything but yes, you are an atheist.
I am an agnostic atheist. I do not claim to KNOW whether or not there is a God, but I do not believe. I also happen to believe there is not a God, which IS a position I would have to justify. I believe there is no God in the same way that I believe there are no fairies. Does that make sense?

Agnosticism and atheism are answers to two completely different questions. Agnosticism is a lack of KNOWLEDGE. Atheism is a lack of BELIEF. You can be both at the same time, and all atheists are, because as SSBB12347 said, everyone lacks knowledge.

Atheists are not all open minded, it simply isn't included in the definition. Raelians and Buddhist are atheists too. Organisms that can adapt to those changes with the pass of time can evolve depending on their new enviroments. Keyword is time, not shaking. God does not require your worship, he wishes that you give him your worship because he has shown his unconditional love to all. How would you really know the worth of God's goodness if he did not allow bad things to happen. They dont get that if god as absolute power within and outside the universe, then everything within the universe is predetermined. @deva930 The burden of proof lies on the claimant. If we atheists were claiming that god or gods don't exist, we would have the burden of proof. This is however not the case on many atheists. A large number of atheists come into the conclusion that the claims made by different religions do not offer enough(or any) evidence to their supernatural claims. Therefore the default rational position is to not accept them until this evidence has been provided. This defines the agnostic atheists position.

Friend that's not for now that's when everything ends.Now, GOD doesn't like to give punishments,you think logically and tell a person who thinks doing wrong is the only way to escape from troubles is apt to live amongst the innocent,I mean to say the lives of innocent is in danger,and moreover he did a wrong thing of ending a life...every person on this earth is made by GOD with purpose even you and me even a beggar on the roadside,now GOD loves all of us equally .

They dont get that if god as absolute power within and outside the universe, then everything within the universe is predetermined. Which kills free-will, kills any soul you might imagine and ensures there is no after-life for you to earn, ur ethernal faith was determined at the alpha and omega. If the universe creation was made by a god with infite powers outside the universe, but unable to affect anything within, youd still have no afterlife. The universe never works like humans want it too.

So a proposed super being capable of creating a universe has something in common with a mildly intelligent ape? God looks like a human being? I've met many Christians who deeply object to that; they say he is energy, outside of space and time. Christians are inconsistent on these points.
And the point Jeff Dee had was that god would be vein for needing human love and for punishing people when he doesn't get it. Good parents don't torture their children for disrespecting them.
