Fantastic tune American Country / Spanish/ South American Fusion. The Maverics did to Country what Santana did to Rock and Roll ( Remember Black Magic Woman). But a good accordion solo would have really fiited in well with this one. I would have just loved to have had the opportunity to have jumped up on stage impromtue on my little Hohner 48 Base accordion and joined in. Ha !!!  Well Manyana.!!! We'll See what tomorrow brings

Saw Raul last night in MK and he was superb as usual. On stage for over 2 hours. What a voice and when he gave the young lad his guitar to play with him on stage was brilliant. I bet he is still talking about now.

I last saw the Mavericks at the Colston Hall about five/six years ago, cant recall exactly and it brought the house down. I knew they had disbanded, but did not Raul was in Britain, yet alone Bristol. I shall be for ever mortified that I missed him.

The reason it wasnt well advertised was because it was on at St Georges Hall, up park street, we wouldnt have had a clue either if me and my dad hadnt gone to see Josh Ritter up there and picked up a brochure.
