Her tour last tour was a huge success with added date requests at many venues. Her most recent CD, "I Love You" was Billboard's highest debuting POP CD that week. Miss Ross is far from retired - her recent gigs in Holland at a 30,000 seat venue required added performances and she will be touring again this summer. She is a mom and grandmother 1st.

Being a true Supreme fan I love all of them especially the original members. Mary looks good as usual but did put on some pounds. Mary's books were huge best sellers and she is still selling them on her website. She is not super rich but she has enough millions to live quite comfortably. Don't get it twisted Mary has LOTS of fans and her funds have not been exhausted. She is still doing quite well for herself!

I love Mary Wilson to death, but I have to agree with ETrax2000: Mary's style needs a serious update. That is her way of staying in the spotlight because she has always felt that she and Flo deserved as much attention and accolades as Diana did. Being a true Supreme fan I love all of them especially the original members. Mary looks good as usual but did put on some pounds. Mary's books were huge best sellers and she is still selling them on her website. She is not super rich but she has enough millions to live quite comfortably. Don't get it twisted Mary has LOTS of fans and her funds have not been exhausted. She is still doing quite well for herself!

actually i didn't search i stumbled and couldn't believe how wide she is now. & for the record i'm not a supreme hater; in-fact i really enjoyed them, but lets face it, without diana there are no supremes, its her voice on all of the records singing lead. Diana wss in is the focal point of all things "supreme" mary was little more than a glorified back up singer.

The only reason that D Ross became a huge solo artist is because she was banging the boss (as in her oldest child). After Diana went solo Motown did not market the Supremes. The Supremes still had hits with Jean Terrell on lead (Floy Joy, Up The Ladder To The Roof, River Deep Mtn High, etc. Berry Gordy even as been quoted stating that D Ross DID NOT have the best voice in the group when they came to Motown but he knew that her weak nasal sound had cross-over appeal for White listening market.

Actually, Diana Ross was named lead singer years before her relationship with Berry began. In fact, they had recorded 5 #1's before anything between them happened at all. Berry did say Diana was the best entertainer. Julie Andrews has the best voice but it doesn't make her a racial-barrier smashing, 50 year Pop icon - Ross' talent and abilities did! Berry did support The 70's Supremes but the public wasnt interested. Look how successful each was when they lefdt Motown. They were good singers,but

You don't see Diane attending events that Honor The Supremes (though she mentioned them last year at the BET Awards after 37 years) Mary has always acknowledged her past and kept the legacy alive. I would love to see a movie about The Supremes, but that's not gonna happen because they don't want the truth to be told on screen.

How long ago was she on the 700 Club compared to this very recent clip? The truth of the matter is that Ms. Wilson ALWAYS identifies herself as a former Supreme. I can watch 50 Diana Ross clips and in not ONE will she be attached to that girl group from oh so long ago. She created a success that surpassed that. Too bad Mary can't and hasn't. I love Mary Wilson to death, but I have to agree with ETrax2000: Mary's style needs a serious update. She needs more realistic wigs and better makeup that isn't so loud (her usual fire-engine red lipstick is shocking!). Short-to-mid lenth hairstyles really make her pop, if you know what I mean. I think her style sense is stuck in the 70's, because the wig she has on in this clip is laughable!
