Guys Why come down on on a young girl who clearly loves T.O.P. Most of these songs were recorded 20 years before she was born. I think it's great somebody 19 years old has an interest in this music. The band wouldn't have invited her to sing if they didn't feel great about her interest in the music.

Are people actually criticizing things like "timing," "phrasing," being "behind the beat," saying that "Larry does this one ten times better?" Of COURSE Larry does this ten times better. He's the lead singer of the band and has sung it a million times. Young Stephanie's got soul, power, energy, grit, presentation and precious little experience with TOP. As a vocalist who covers quite a bit of TOP, I give this girl a flat out 10...

Objective, constructive, knowledged criticism is a necessary facet of any art form. When it comes to the art form of music and performance, the items mentioned by Normsdad, timing, pharasing, etc. are paramount factors. In a school recital or karaoke performance, maybe nott. On the professional stage, however, I'm afraid, those criticisms are valid no matter WHO you have or haven't sat in with. She's very good, but not a "10" because of, behind the beat, etc., I'm sorry to say.

Sie braucht eine Band, die ihr das Wasser reichen kann! Leider kann sie die ToP's nicht adoptieren. Doch ihre neue Band sollte ähnlich gut sein, wie diese Jungs. stimmt. die hornsection von TOP ist eine der weltweit bekanntesten und besten neben den phoenix horns von Earth, Wind & Fire, die ich schon alle live gesehn und gehört hab. and die kommt wirklich keine andere ran, wobei die cover version von den heavytones wirklich WAHNSINNIG GEIL ist. die andere sache: das lied wurde von TOP geschrieben (oder von Emilio Castilio), solche nummern schreiben halt auch nicht die heavytones (; aber macht ja nichts.

Schaut Euch am Ende des Videos einmal den Gitarristen neben dem Keyborder an. Der hat diesen Song schon 1000 mal gespielt. Doch so hat er ihn noch nie erlebt. Das nenne ich wahre Freude.

Ja, während vor dem Auftritt die TOPs vor Stefis Auftritt einfach top professionell waren, spielten sie sich nach den Umarmungen durch Stefi in ein wahres Hammer Funky Fieber! Mit der ersten Sekunde Ihres Auftritts saugt Steffi jegliche Aufmerksamkeit auf sich, Sie führte die Regie, gibt an das Sax-Solo weiter und nimmt die ganze Band in Ihren Bann. Unglaublich wie Sie den Song lebt und die Funken an das Publikum weitergibt. Ihre grösste Stärke Ihr Live-Staging. Mein eindrücklichstes Konzert!

Ja sicher, dafür ist die Stimme von Stefi absolut tragend und dominant. Die Band ist zumindest in diesen 30 Sekunden nur Takthintergrund. Die TOP`s kann ohnehin kaum jemand toppen. Ich vermute, in Zürich hat TOP das OK für Stefis Album gegeben, in einer ersten Titelveröffentlichung von Masterplan hat dieser Song gefehlt. Die Soundstückchen zeigen auf jeden Fall, dass voll auf Stefi`s Traumorgan gesetzt wird. Kaum wischiwaschi Beilagensound zum vertuschen der stimmlichen Mängel.

Kein Kuenstler braucht das OK von einem anderen Kuenstler fuer eine Coverversion - dieser Aspekt wird via 'Compulsory License' geregelt. Wenn ein Song erstmal veroeffentlicht ist, kann ihn jeder nachspielen und aufnehmen solange das Stueck im Falle einer CD-Produktion als Fremdkomposition angemeldet ist. TOP waeren auch bloed ihr Veto einzulegen, schliesslich koennen Autoren massiv Verlagsgelder verdienen, wenn ein Stueck gecovert, an Radio gespielt und ein Hit wird. Free money for TOP!

Danke für das Video!!! War mein Lieblingssong aus SSDS, und ich finde sie konnte diesen Klasse Song tatsächlich nochmal bereichern. Auch hier ein Klasse Auftritt... WOW! Hoffentlich wird ihr Album wenigstens halb so Funky! Aber ich fürchte fast ich muss auf eine musikalische Befreiung beim 2ten Album hoffen... mit dem richtigen Sound kann sie auch mit Joss Stone und Jill Scott mithalten; aber so schlecht wie die Single abgemixt ist, und wenn es dann noch total poppig wird... Sensationeller Auftritt von Stefanie. Mit Ihrem göttlichem Stimmorgan fügte Sie sich nahtlos in den Abend mit diesen Spitzenprofis, die ich bis dahin nicht kannte. Mit Ihrem unnachahmlichen Style in dem Ihr ganzer Körper mit dem Song mitgeht, saugt Sie die ganze Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Das Publikum tobte vor Begeisterung und auch die TOP`s waren offensichtlich beeindruckt ob dieser Leistung. Im zweiten Teil des Abends steigerten Sie sich noch in ein traumhaftes Funkfeuer. Stefi ein Live Wunder!
