The time honored defense of uncle tom Negroes is "I didn't leave anything in Africa" Malcolm X countered the uncle Tom by saying that he left his mind in Africa and I concur. It is true what you say about the light skinned bias. I am lighter than is standard for West Africans. Often I find people seeking to make me out to be "safer" than your "standard" African.

the advancement of colored people or civil rights legislation association? these two things are easily separable now. i am 100% for the advancement of colored people, but right now, i see some of the biggest problems as being the illiteracy of adult members of our neighborhoods and the poisonous themes in popular black music. Pop culture is raising our children more than the parents are.
