Credits were given for ALL songs by ALL of the American Idol performers at the beginning of each song. If some of that info was cut off on TV, that is not Cook's or any of the other performers fault. He just sang his renditions real well and in a lot of cases, sang better than the original. He deserves a lot of credit for his unique talent and awesome voice range.

I don't think David Cook is THE EPITOME OF THE TRUE AMERICAN IDOL.

For during the AI days he didn't tell the judges where he got his arrangement from until the artist speak out through EW mags and exposed it. this would have been ok if it was 1 time but it was more than 1 it happened - Its just unfortunate that he just got caught for there is a credibility issue here and he knows what his doing for his desperate to win - AI downplay it that why Ryan interview him and he acknowledge the artist.

Haha. You are seriously ignorant. Do your research. I am not even a fan of David Cook but at least do not bash contestants with false reasoning. DC has ALWAYS said where he got his arrangements. For ex: before he sang Billie Jean, Ryan announces that DC is going to sing CHRIS CORNELL's arrangement. He also wrote some of his own arrangements for some songs such as Little Sparrow.

ALL songs of ALL American Idol contestants were announced at the BEGINNING of each song. If some were not announced or was cut off, it was not any of the contestants' fault.

What a hot commercial! David looks really awesome and of course sounds fantastic too. I have watched AI since the beginning and David was my all-time favorite competitor and winner. I'm willing to watch again but can't imagine anyone captivating the huge fanbase that David did in the 7th Season. I'm enjoying his success and feel that my thousands of votes were well worth all the effort. The new album is great. Keep on rockin David!!!

I can't believe they made this commercial without a word about it leaking out to fans! Somehow, someone somewhere always seems to know what David is up to, and we didn't find out about this until the day before. TPTB do have a stealth mode, after all!
