"Pocket full of poses" gave reference to how people would stuff their noses with cloths with oils on them to avoid the smells of rotting bodies, "ashes, ashes"-the burnt all the bodies due to the disease and not having room to bury them, and "we all fall down"....well I am sure you can figure that part out.
