I am loving Hermano and Unida before them. This song is awesome. I never got to meet John unfortunately, but spoke to him on the phone a few times, and he seems a really sound, down to earth dude. In fact the house where you see them performing i almost ended up renting, but moved to Bermuda Dunes in Oalm Desert instead. Fucking awesome singer, performer, human being and vet though. Josh Homme said he hates that name. The music is also refered to as "desert rock", because Kyuss, QOTSA, Hermano... are from Palm Springs and Palm Desert California, cities surrounded by desert. I think as the music sounds kind of "sandy", a little bit "dirty" and as it makes u sweat :), the labelling "desert rock" would be more adequate. Soundgarden is more comparible to desert rock than to grunge imo. Sometimes music is not classified by sound, but by her local origin.
