no. this is a strictly amateur competition. our guys are professional, so they think they are too good to play against amateurs. mind you, we play against the Irish in a similar game, they are amateurs and they beat us this year - so anything is possible. I'd personally love to see Aust vs NZ but I don't think it will happen until either there are more NZ players in the AFL we get off our high horse ....

Well, In my opinion, having no fear for your own safety is an important part of aussie rules. Seeing how Somoans play rugby, I,m sure Somoans would be amazing at aussie rules.

its so good 2 see afl been taken seriously abroad.its the best sport in the world!...unfortunately will never be as big as soccer because the asians and sth americans havnt got the build to be competitive in this sport.

yeah truu LOL....AFL is mah favorite sport ever...i grew up with Rugby but i think a change was needed im glad i changed to AFL thogh!!!
