The problem is losing weight is much easier said than done. I never take elevators (they scare me), I walk daily, and I don't eat that much, but I've not been able to lose weight. So, I've learned to live with it. :)

i used to be fat and deal with a weight gain issue a lot of the times...excercise daily, watch the fun foods and just use the energy up. Being overweight is worse then smoking and its ecconomical side effects are worse. Companies that have un active jobs should make excercise mandatory for their employees.
We already have this. You can fire a person for being fat, because being "FAT" isn't in the discrimination clause of employment nor is it a form of harassment. In the court of law it can be looked up as having an un-fit or unhealthy worker for the better good of the company. So to say that the USA needs this.. we have this we just don't enforce it.

The problem is losing weight is much easier said than done. I never take elevators (they scare me), I walk daily, and I don't eat that much, but I've not been able to lose weight. So, I've learned to live with it. :)

Have you seen footage of the middle east? We help other countries because we want to but we do that too much. @erwintipton No. Japan has always been a rather thin country. Japan HAVE the genetics. They enforce this because Japan has become increasingly fatter since the introduction of fast foods, etc, not because it isn't genetically possible.
Perhaps the waistline requirements would be impossible in America, but not really in Japan.

You want proof, take a look at some of pictures from nazzi camps, every single person is skin and bone. In short if you don't eat you lose weight, if your metabolism is fast you lose it faster.

And there is bit of difference in dieting and being unable to get any nutritions in your body. Fasting, when done without proper medical supervision and lasting more than a month result in starvation. Still if you go on the diet you have your doctor who can give you all the supplements needed.

When I first saw the footage of what happen there I wanted to cry so bad , I hope that never happens again . Haha the Chinese kids already do the "exercise music" over the loud speakers in schools. They also have a daily workout routine outside, along with recess afterwards. Maybe it's not SUCH a bad idea, I mean, people will be getting in shape, and start avoiding crap food like McD's (siiiiickness). The government should think about just kicking those companies out of Japan if they think it's hurting their population. That would solve a huge portion of the issue. :)

I agree. If everyone ate healthy, lived a natural lifestyle, with the ample amount of exercise there would be no fat people or universal health care. But if you don't see what is happening here odd, people better start reevaluating there views on government and universal health care. i used to be fat and deal with a weight gain issue a lot of the times...excercise daily, watch the fun foods and just use the energy up. Being overweight is worse then smoking and its ecconomical side effects are worse. Companies that have un active jobs should make excercise mandatory for their employees.

We already have this. You can fire a person for being fat, because being "FAT" isn't in the discrimination clause of employment nor is it a form of harassment. In the court of law it can be looked up as having an un-fit or unhealthy worker for the better good of the company. So to say that the USA needs this.. we have this we just don't enforce it.
