The muffler will give you the sound but will not change any power (or at least very very minimal)
You'd be better off (if you want power) to chop out the catalytic convertor and put in larger piping all the way from the manifold back. If you had tonnes of cash you could install headers. Than you'd possibly get a 15-20 horsepower boost. Less restriction
whole think or "cat-back". some cars can get away with just a "axle back" and still sound good, depends on the car. Most cheep fucks get just the muffler, and drive around sounding like ass. Invest in one of the proven high quality brands.
Yes, i admit it.. mine is little bit more bassy.. maybe its because i have replaced the ori headers and also it was recorded by my old nokia phone(so it is badly recorded).
better sound with better performance...

yes it can. an exhaust can give anywhere from 5 to 25 or 30 more horsepower.
