I Love this Video and also I checked out your Channel. Very interesting! If you need any help getting this Video and your Channel exposed to were it is top in all the search I found this site called tubeviews.(net) that has took my breath away. I'm working on my 4th Channel now, this one I just made. My Videos are getting so many hits now. Check it out and keep in touch.
Its crazy. We are in an age where we can actually go into a class like this, yet have never been accepted nor even live near this university and the result is that people leave comments like, "How can this be 3 hours long?!!"
sorry guys. i didn't mean to piss everyone off. GOD. but its still too long. it should be split into several videos with part ones and twos and stuff. u people are so mean
Unfortunately, many things that we consider 'personal' matters inevitably affect others. In the issue of energy, the fundamental law of supply & demand says that using energy indiscriminately puts unnecessary pressure upon demand, thus limiting the supply available for others. Thus, your opinion is quite anti-american in telling your rhetorical neighbor to indirectly pay for your unnecessary usages of energy.
Good rebuttal, but not completely relevant. We are discussing laws, not your personal actions. Yes, one hummer would not even begin to make an impression on energy supply, but the dozens of hummers and tens of thousands of sports cars that I have seen with mine own eyes very well could. An example would be a time about a year ago that gas was being rationed here in the Southeast due to a hurricane closing down some oil refineries. When I had my turn at a gas pump, I took the last drop. Cont...
So, I guess that's when I began to see potential wisdom behind laws such as what my father calls 'Obama's dictation of what we can and cannot drive', referring to taxes on poorly fuel efficient cars. I've even wondered how much lower gas prices would be if all vehicles were as fuel-efficient as each driver's needs demanded. Sure, not cut in half, but even a few cents off each gallon would go a long way. So, AlGore aside, I'm tired of eating peanut butter because I can barely afford gas.
Thing is, there was a hummer right in front of me. If it had been a decent MPG-car, I might have been able to fill-up and have enough gas to go to classes that week. Then I began to think, If EVERY sports car and needless SUV (I come from a family of 10, so I know that some NEED big cars) that came before me were fuel-efficient, then I KNOW that I would've been able to go to classes that week. But such is not the luxury-choosing way of Americans, so I was forced to stay home. Cont...

How about those electricity price controls in California in 2003? Oh, I'm sorry how forgetful of me. The proper term is "rate regulation"

this is long, but
1. no one is forcing you to watch it all
2. You have to admit 1 video is more convenient and actually shorter (no load-times of multiple videos to deal with) than many videos.

Dear Sir :
yes, you are right.
you made a good point.
but I don't think my own personal usage of power will affect global supply and demand.
Also global warming is NOT man made.
It's a normal cycle that happens on earth.
so sir, I will leave all my lights on in my house and fill my hummer up, as much as I like, NOBODY can stop me, and I am not in the wrong.
