this isn't anchorman 2, it's a clip from 'wake up, ron burgundy: the lost movie.' it's essentially just footage of unused, abandoned sub-plots and alternate takes from the first film strung together to feature length. it was released in 2004 and is part of the anchorman dvd gift set.

This is a deleted scene. They filmed an alternate story that followed after he lost everything. That's why Baxter is different, at this point he was still missing/thought dead. They also filmed a completely different ending where Cristina apple gate is held hostage I think.
