Everyone becareful the toxic chemicals rise to the surface of the water in the gulf evaporate into the air and carried with wind rain and dumped on land. Becareful about eating your fruits and veggies cuz DOLE cuts OFF the celery leaves on the stalks that are burnt! I live in IL and my plants, trees, flowers have burnt black leaves, black burnt holes, white corrosion some leaves on the trees have fallen off already it looks like fall here

This was shot on a Wednesday at noon . . . cleanup began 2 days later. On Friday morning they squeezed oil out of the absorbent 'sausages" as they tugged and pulled on the containment boom sections that trapped the absorbent links . . .lots of oil squeezed down into the rocks and into the water. Keystone Cops in white coveralls.

Yes, that boom certainly does seem to be doing its job, doesn't it? I heard that BP has workers that rush right out to fix or replace booms like this so no oil will reach the shore. Were they all standing behind the camera?
