backflip is her speciallity since she started ice skating. it's forbidden in competition (especially olympic games), just allowed in free programs and some other contests... Everyone expects her to do flipback everytime she is on ice... She still do that and she's 36 today... she's the only one female able to do that, and even if some girls would do that now, she has been the 1st. France loves Surya Bonaly. Never won the olympic games, but the best ice skater ever !!!

Es MARAVILLOSO ver a Surya Bonay. Desde los Juegos Olimpicos de Invierno de Nagano 1998, que pareciera estar retirada de las competencias, ha seguido en el hielo y con gran calidad, haciendo cosas verdaderamente dificilisimas, com el backflip en un solo pie. Es Unica. Es una verdadera gran campeona no reconocida del todo. Una de las grandes de todos los tiempos.
