never said you need a lipo, have you tried it yet? borrow one from a friend if you don't have one and give it a whirl. They last longer on a charge, they do go quite a bit faster as well

Ya the drifter can be converted to touring, just buy the grippy tyres. When it's converted for drift (motor, and stuff at front) The Drift setup works just as well when you put the grippy tires on it. But when you put the drift tires on the touring setup (motor and stuff mounted at back) it is harder to drift, and it looks bad. I would just buy the drift version and buy the mustang body and paint it yourself, and maybe grippy tyres too. Drifting is way more fun tho.

the RTR drift version only comes in the ae86 and the rx-7. The mustang is the touring model, and it takes a bit of work to conver it to drifting (have to switch all the electronics and the motor to the front), plus you need to buy the drift tyres yourself.

E10 is so cool becouse of two engine mount places so you have drift and touring in one just change tyres for street and of you race :) i'm getting if as my first rc:)
