What surprises me is that they finally killed off Liquid and Ocelot , That takes some guts.. Since they were important to the whole Series.

wrong. ocelot was never under control of liquid. liquid died in mgs1 because of FOXDIE. ocelot injected himself with nanomachines so he gained his personality. besides, he removed liquid's arm and added a cybernetic arm instead. it was just another one of his tricks, thats all......but maybe you already knew that

@BloodygoreFilms YEaah But Raiden is much kooler now. And face it Raiden and Grey Fox saved Snake's ass on more than one occasion. There's no way OLD SNAKE could beat VAMP. It would not happen. No way he could get past those Metal GEar scouts.

Raiden is an amazing cyborg. Its kinda sad cuz he and Snake faced similar consequences of not having their bodies ever being the same as they were.

Snake with accelerated aging. Raiden with only his face as his piece of humanity.

It's not of the AAA quality scenes of the series, but it's really a fitting end fight.

The war is over, both of them are too old for any more fights after this one, and the sun is setting in the background. And the two old enemies who faought for over a decade, beating each other up. Not to kill each other, just because. And the end fight/title music of all four games play.

You really know at this point, that this is going to be the end, no matter which of them wins.

I'm quite sad, that MGS5 will go over to the 360. No one even had to persuade anyone that MGS5 will be a spin off, Konami said it themselves straight away. Konami's annual profits rose 53% with MGS, and they're 3Rd developers, so I think the reason they're making MGS5 multi is so they can cash in some real quick money, and the same with Tekkan, so they can rise their net income and become a 1St game dev. company.

Either way, we have to wait 5years for an actual MGS game.

Easter Egg, during third phase. when snake is held in choke hold. don't press anything. eventually, liquid will plant a kiss on snake's cheek. and you can also taunt liquid by pressing triangle from a safe distance.

Plus, what eebf said about taunting from a distance in phase 3, its my favorite to do in the fight. If you do it right in the beginning after you backup, he does his "ocelot" pose and shouts "Show me what you got!" :D

the easiest way to beat the second part of the fight (liquid ocelot) is too try and bait him. stay close to him but not within punching distance otherwise he will storong punch you (1:06) . he will try to hit you with that power punch (1:14). jump back, and after he has hit the air, rush in and uppercut him twice. the first uppercut will stun him, and the second will knock him down. repeat over and over and you should be able to get through this part without losing any of your health.

I hated and loved that boss fight. I almost cried too... If there was an alternate ending where I could let Ocelot kill me and still get an ending I would have done that for my first try. I hated having to defeat him, Revolver Ocelot is my top favorite character in the MGS series.

At last, after beating this game, my life, is complete, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh . lol Yes, there is MGS5 in the make, but all the best players are gone. { big boss, ocelot, solid snake} unless if they make a side story like mg:por ops, that deals with raiden rescuing sunny, and etc, then were talking. Or how about this, remake the original MG and MG2:Solid Snake the ones for nes, on ps3 using same graphics as mgs4 and most cut scenes will deal with the perspective of the bad guys, etc.

If u paid more attention to what Liquid ocelot said to Snake then u would understand that he was not Liquid after all it was all Ocelot he was faking it to save bigboss, he idolised him. Ocelot was actually a good guy, but his methods were different to that of snake's. He took on the persona of liquid so he could fool everyone. He actually never hated snake, he just wanted to prove his skills against big boss, but sice big boss was captive by the system, he went for the next best thing, Snake

oh and remember people, this is liquid/ocelot losing to the clone of big boss. so it kind of sucks that ocelot doesn't get to see the original snake that he fought during snake eater. So i think, this snake remembered the quote from ocelot, but wasn't actually their at the time to receive it. so ocelot is kind of like the buddy of solid snake's dad(naked snake).
