How long will you keep the upward branch wired to the main trunk, before it will maintain it's position? 2 or 3 yrs?

Graham, I am very impressed. We are not allowed to bring Scots pines into California, else I would have several. However, this winter I hope to present some videos on some large junipers I have collected.
