Sid, that sounds like freedom to me; Government School brainwashing. Would you want a wife, you, had to hold with a gun? Each state is a sovereign country, independent. The Constitution gives the states the right to leave the Union. Why would a Union want a state, that didn't want to be in the Union? If you want to be in the Union move to a state that wants to be in the Union, we don't want to force you to leave.

uh no thats the constitutional interpretation that our founding father's laid out. Read James Madison's constitutional convention papers and look at history before 1865 the states lead by Ohio overthrew the bus bank the first attempt at creating a federal bank, SC nullified the first unfair federal tariff increase in 1828 and Andrew Jackson explicitly along with the entire Jeffersonian party the importance of the states in checking the feds.

Well, first of all, we Southrons have never fought a "civil war" - we fought against an outside force that conquered our lands. That's a war, not a "civil war." Not only that, the Feds use our money - not in reverse. They have no money of their own - only what they take from the people and the States. The Feds are supposed to be our servants. But it's not like that at all. So, yes, we want out - certainly.
