  • thank you soo mutch!

  • could you tell me pros and contras between PB Floid and D2?

  • The PB Floids are a bit softer/ flexier while the D2 boots are stiffer. both are great boots, just depends on your preference. the PB Floids have a hiking-boot lace-up style. the top 2 lacing spots are hooks rather than lugs or eyelets. PERSONALLY i have never liked foot-ware like this, but you, like many others might. the 2009 floids are said to be more perfected. they have a more flexible area between the upper boot and lower half for one major difference so the cuff flexes better.

  • Also, if your not in a hurry to get some boots and its within your budget, you could wait till the 2010 boots come out. (no word when). there are going to be two entirely different models for next year. lighter, lower to the board, more durable, and other additional/better features than previously... or so i have heard so far.

  • I also suggest trying a pair of socks or two while riding to squeeze things up if you are a half size off like me. more cushion :)

  • I have a link in the description of this video (click "more") that will lead you to an additional modification that is a bit more extreme. i put large straps on instead, but they are only temporary and could be removed. if you have interest check it out. there are pics and much description on how to do it

  • what size boot should i get i were a size 10 in shoes

  • I would get a size 10. I believe the sizes are pretty true. the liners can be heat molded which will help to size up or down just a small tad. i wear 10.5 shoes and got the 11 and then put that pad inside to make it more like a 10.5. the 10 to me was too tight. IF you are still growing i would get the 11 and add a pad like me. Slingshot has excellent customer service so if you think you need a larger size you can exchange through them if the shop you get them from does not cooperate well

  • i have heard some people say the 2009 boots run a tad small, but i have not tried them on yet, just the 08 ones. f.y.i.

driver boots are the stiffer ones and PB Floids are a bit flexier and softer.

any other questions feel free to shoot them over and or give slingshot customer service a jingle. again, they are great at helpin' out
