Brigham Young, spiritual giant!!

I am amazed about all he was able to accomplish under God's direction;it would be impossible without it, for sure!

But, out of all things he was and did, what touches me deeper and more than anything else is his loyal and loving support to the prophet Joseph Smith. Imagine all of us following his example in all things and always. The spirituality coming from our efforts to do the right for the right reasons would be overwhelming and powerful force

to help.

I think sometimes forget how amazing a feat that truly was!

I never really understood how great a feat that was until I had a Chinese Scholar who found out I was Mormon. He wanted to shake my hand. He said in China they study Utah and Mormons as the greatest example of hard work in world history. Despised by their own country they took the worst of circumstances and turned it into success.

BTW, he didn't know Mormons were a religious group!

Do you notice why we do not call ourselves mormon, and say LDS, because we worship Jesus Christ, and not Joseph Smith, Moroni, Mormon or any of the other prophets. People get confused on that, but we worship Jesus Christ, and he is the head of our church.
