@LTDGuitars420 I don't smoke cannabis. I have been known to smoke a bit in the past. But that was many years ago. I came to the conclusion that it did not help me in any way. So my answer is YES! From personal experience...... I definitely find something wrong with smoking cannabis before practicing an instrument. If you smoke cannabis and think it enhances your playing, please upload a video to demonstrate to the world how smoking a mind altering weed benefits your playing.
@hersoveela Well, I smoke cannabis every day and I play instruments without any complications. Cannabis doesn't make you play better, but for me it makes playing more enjoyable and doesn't diminish my abilities in any way, but that's me, it's important to realize that it effects every body differently. Your opinion on the plant seems to be very bias, yes I think you're just a bias old man. Tell me, where is your proof that cannabis couldn't enhance your abilities? Hmmmmm?
@LTDGuitars420 You asked me a question and I answered it. By it's nature, your question requires me to be subjective. Of course I am biased when I talk from personal experience and the conclusions that arise from that experience. You seem offended by my answer because you have your own very biased view of how cannabis can affect the mind. Stop talking bullshit and PROVE your point to ME, instead of intellectualizing about it. I'm still waiting for you to SHOW me. Where's your video???? Hmmmmm?
@hersoveela You're implying that MY use of the plant doesn't enhance MY abilities. My opinions aren't biased either because I base all of my information on the "drug" off of research and fact. I guess my first question should have been, do you find something wrong with "people" using cannabis before practicing an instrument. You've also implied that cannabis makes people unintelligent in your comments, implying that the idiot that left the first comment at the top was stupid because of cannabis.
@LTDGuitars420 Lol he was just joking with the dude who left the comment, and it is quite funny how you turned it into a serious debate. Did you even read the dude's comment?
Well it's a text messeage, I don't really see how you can determine weather or not he was joking when he wrote it. It just seems to me that he has a obstinate view of Cannabis, in which I strongly disagree. It was really him that turned it into a serious debate if you read the first comment he left to me.
@LTDGuitars420 I do not quite get it when you are not able to tell if his comment is a joke. His usages of words tell all- "...2 smoke weed b4..." Don't you notice that the similarities between the 2 comments that make it a joke? Yeah, I gotta say that your interpretation of his comment fails, hard... Anyway, like he said, prove your point. Can you?
Yes the two similarities can be interpreted as a joke or him mocking the person, and he obviously dislikes marijuana so that leads me to the conclusion he was not joking, I don't think he wrote it angrily or anything. He told me to demonstrate how a mind altering weed helps my playing abilities, just the wording of the things he says seems to be a bit cross. Cannabis doesn't lower your motor skills in any way, not like alcohol, not like prescription drugs, I don't think he would agree.
@surtursfire After reading some other comments, I figured you were probably asking about the key, not the string tunings. The key is A Phrygian. The capo can be anywhere but the key is still considered A Phrigian.
por supuesto para hacer eso necesitas AÑOS, piensa que primero debes de saaber sumar, multiplicar, resolver equaciones, derivar etc antes e integrar xDDD como simil matematico xDDD

Thanks for sharing this video. It's really helping me learn to play Bulerias. Camera position is perfect for seeing what your hands are getting up to.
I'm sitting here with my classical guitar re-playing the first 30 seconds over & over again in the hope that I will eventually work out how this amazing man's fingers do this percusive beat. Gabriela is one of the best ( see Rodrego e Gabriela ) & she gives youtube lessons but I 'v been at it for six months & think that although we must talk in terms of 'years' to become proficient I am thinking some of us just will never get it. Oh well, its amazing learning just the same.
@werenutz Gabriella does not play flamenco, she plays rumba rhythm. If you want to learn Buleria, you have to first understand the 12 count compass. You need to look at Jason MacGuire's videos. He explains the compass and the accents on 12, 3, 6, 8, 10. It starts on 12, which makes it confusing. If you sit there and try to emulate, you will learn something that sounds similar, but most likley be out of compass.
@cesarvasqz Hello & thanks for your info, I have been watching Jason for sometime now & he is a truly powerful guitarist, wonderful stuff indeed. I am aware that Gabriella plays a different style but her technique is one that I am keen to practice despite the pain it brings on ;-)
Yeah, i would say that this actually is no special technique, its just the pure feeling for music. Its the same like sitting there with your guitar and playing some stuff that your fingers wanna play ;)
And i can agree with you: Flamenco is definately the hardest "style" for guitar that can be learned. It takes years, sometimes centurys to master this kind of music.
@werenutz The beginning rhythm on the guitar is played both with hands and the cajon. His playing is an adaptation of those instruments which is really nice.
Now, where the rhythm originated (by that i mean on guitar or percussion, i dont know what started first - most likely percussion. i could be totally backwards about what i said above) i dont know, but im studying it myself. FASCINATING!!
@werenutz heheheehm keep doing it and u'll damage your guitar, unless it has a tap plate lols, lolss, and rodrigo and gabriela is not flamenco, just letting u know, it's totally different,
go to spain and try to learn flamenco, you'll be able to do it :)
Thanks Sal for sharing your talent and extensive knowledge of music with the rest of us. You play wth great feeling and skill. In Hawaii we play "scratch" on the ukulele which is similar to the beginning part of your piece (hitting the guitar without sounding a note from the string). Aloha.
