  • Nice camera man lol

  • great vid dude such s unique idea what weave do you use for this bracelet i know it isnt cobra is it solomon weave??????????

  • iS THIS WHAT YOU TAKE ON AN AIRPLANE? LMFAO

  • excellent job brother....

    AMS

  • Great Bracelet, and setting a great example for those kids! Survivalist! Rock on Brother

  • @HavasuWireGuy BIG THANKS!

  • awesome vid man......and awesome filming cindy. haha

  • @taquitos3324 she is a very talented little 8yr old (7 when filmed this vid). BTW if you like videos please click the "share" button on videos, subscribe to my kevingg2000 youtube channel, and share to your social networks, follow me on twitter, like my facebook page etc. thanks again!

  • cool stuff....and nice job with the camera! :)

  • You should put multiple small pieces of jute in it so you can use the bracelet multiple times without recharging.

  • @dangolgeetar OR multiple layers of the jute if possible.

  • Nice concept. but too bad its only a 1 time use item. You probably want to get some tinder along with the jute to light em up next time. Alot of tinder.

  • great bracelet as for looks, However I dk if I would wear that all the time specialy as my main fire source. Cause onces it (Jute) gets wet its pretty much useless. I wasn't use wax like most are saying. However I would use something like petroleum jelly so that it will repel as must moisture as possible.

  • But its only for single usage...

  • Kevin, That jute went up like a puddle of gas... what if you are wearing it around a campfire, and get an ember or two on it... Does it being tied in prevent this?

  • @banata21 needs oxygen, fluffing to go up. won't burn on the wrist.

  • wow love ur videos and most of all the 8strand monkey fist lol.

    i want one plz

  • what is the weave on it? how readily does it untie?

  • Thanks for sharing this good idea !

  • Is that the Solomon weave and funny vid kids can be scary lol.

  • OMG - i love this bracelet.... and we ALWAYS have an URGENT need to make S'mores! LOL - we are avid campers & I think this would be a great gift for the whole family - we should all wear this bracelet. PS: I love your videographer - she rocks! =)

  • You have 2 different ways of making fire with that bracelet. You can do it the way you are showing with the striker and rod, And if you know how make fire with a bow drill, you have the string for your bow.

  • where can I buy firesteel and jute? As far as the scraper, I guess I could simply cut down a hacksaw blade.

  • Nice bracelet, awesome parenting = thumbs up video.

  • @Jhraxlin big thanks, very nice comment!

  • Sweet

  • This is awesome! What kind of clasp is that you are using? And can you buy the scraper at Walmart or Hobby Lobby?

  • Did you cut down firesteel or did you buy it that small? I'd like to put together a kit to give as a gift.

  • @ricebean2269 i cut them and drill them from firesteel blank rods!

  • @kevingg2000 What is the scraper made from or is it prefab scraper?

  • if it get wet then it useless - - !

  • @sleeping14forest if you consider having a firesteel and a scraper useless in a survival situation without jute, then you need to learn some bushcraft skills. checkout buschraft usa forums

  • @kevingg2000 i didnt mean the firesteel or the scraper but the thing you take out of your BSB - - ! and in the wild you can't recharge it

  • awesome !!

  • @kesherdancer thanks!

  • did the kids kill him after hahahaha thank you for the video

  • @gizmo33rd still alive and kicking!

  • Brilliant!

  • Good job on the innovation of the jute, firesteel and paracord! Very clever

  • @willtry2survive1 thanks a lot!

  • Thumbs up for the kid doing the camera work; better than a lot of adults I've seen.

Oh yeah, great bracelet too. :)

I think the wax idea is good because it would help in wet conditions I think.

  • @BernhardHofmann my 7yr old is a natural camera woman for sure. I don't like wax as it crumbles and would get into the bracelet

  • You should coat the jute with Wax to make it burn longer....

  • @jortiz67 I agree but that would make the bracelet and wrist fill with crumbly wax pieces over time

  • @jortiz67 AND help in wet conditions I'd think.

  • @jortiz67 and it will still catch a spark when its wet:)

  • Great idea.

How much total inches is the paracord?

Hope you will make one with more than one kindling, than it's will be PERFECT

  • Absolute genius! I can't wait to order a few.... Merry Christmas to me!!!

  • ?

So, after every survival-situation, when you made a fire, you just go back to your garage and put in some new jute? Smart!

  • @riselin Hopefully you don't get into to many survial situations; but yes. Check my video called "Paracordist's B.S.B. Best Survival Bracelet - paracord, firesteel, scraper, tinder, sling " which shows how to re-attach with new jute

  • Nice! How much might one of these go for? :D

  • @xXStrWbrrYsToneXx thanks for asking. I'm doing them for $30 on my website

  • @kevingg2000 That seems reasonable. My husband may like one of these for his birthday. I'll check it out, thanks!

  • Absolutely freaking awesome

  • @Bornwithnofear thanks! its my proudest achievement yet

  • nice work and cool idea.. could save a life someday

  • Man way nicer than. What i see people wear every day cool

  • @Sxeirthanu thanks for the comment and sub!

  • Very Nice, Kevin. And thank you for passing down the bushcraft/survival/outdoor knowledge to the kids. We need to get back to the basics of passing our skills down to the next generation. Keep up the great work.

  • awesome lil video! and damn, for a 7yrold, that girl can shoot like a pro! Gonna make one of these when i get all the bits together. Btw where'd you get the striker from/ make it from?

  • @oKazaryo she's very much a natural; lots of my vids were shot by her, as early as 5-6 yrs old! the scapers are made special for my and this product by a fellow vendor on BCUSA so I'm not selling them separate, sorry.

  • that is just so cool hats of to you dude, what type of weave is the braclet

  • @wolffamily thanks! its just a three strand weave (working end just goes back and forth over under over under over...)

  • Very clever Sir! Your youngster will be a survival expert, just from filming! Cheers!

  • Great job! Will be placing my order soon!

  • Nice vid!

  • Once again...nicely done, Kevin! =^)

  • I am thinking that might be your daughter....?...she did a great job filming
