I still don't understand how God can fill this emptiness inside. You christians do the same things everyone else does. You eat, sleep, work, go to school, marry, have kids etc. So, what's so different about your lives and everyone elses life? What the hall does finding Christ have to do with finding purpose? The Christian has no answer for mans purpose on earth than anybody else does.
@debra53758 We are all sinners. But those who received the salvation of Christ are in peace with the Creator from the moment that Jesus came into their hearts. This brings peace at heart and fulfilling joy.
read Galatians, for example 5:22, and understand what the bible teaches about you and God.
"the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control." Gal 5:22
"indulging the desires of your flesh and your mind"?? - you mean taking notice of what your body is telling you - and being mindful of your unconscious impulses?
YES. These are GOOD things you idiot. Denying them leads to the kind of behavior we read about priests indulging in!!
Your idea of 'god' is a replacement for a deep understanding and experience of yourSELF!!
Could you sound anymore like a late-night infomercial?
