@remixer412 I bought virtual dj, (Not a fanbut i have to try before i hate) I tried it with the ns7 and said i needed to buy VDJ 'pro' which is like a couple hundred bucks. quick question, y dont u like itch?
@flyinjay007jpa The layout i just dont like, also I don't know if it's just me, but Itch is very buggish! Ex: I have a song playing on Deck A, and when I load a song to Deck B, there is like a break in the music for Deck A just for Deck B loading. Also, there are no effects for me to use since I don't have the NSFX. Virtual DJ at least has a few for me to use here and there lol. Like I said I dont know if this is only me with the Buggish Itch, it might be my PC, but VDJ works better for me :P
@remixer412 is ur RAM 4gb or more? n the fx bar is worth it i had to buy mine seprately. itch 2.0 is coming out l8r this year n will have many awsome features
@flyinjay007jpa sorry for the late reply and yess have 4 GB RAM on a Dell Studio. Im hoping to get a MAC soon tho. Also I have been using ITCH a bit more and quite frankly i like it now! It's a more prefessional Software and just feels better once you get used to it. Still waiting for the FX bar tho. It'll come soon.

VDJ is awesome but the knobs to slow down start and stop platter don't work.. and I've also had cross fader/headphone issues.. Im hoping that these will be rectified with a mac..
@inferno8428 I had been using VDJ to record mixes, but when im just paracticing, or a gig ITCH is the way to go. That being said I will probably get a MAC next since they are the best Laptop for Dj'ing no doubt. Sucks the knobs to slow down the start/stop dont work but that wasnt a big deal to me. My concern right now is that im noticing my Crossfader stop working at times. If that were to happen at a Gig mixing Live, it would be a huge inconvenience. Yup we went with the 1.5. He also got a mac book pro and everything is running smooth as silk. thanks for all your help. what else was funny was we were trying to figure out how to get the bpm category to show next to artist song title etc...I searched for like 2 hours on the net. lol then by chance I stumbled across that little arrow on the far left of the title bar...clicked it and got all sorts of headers bpm, genre, comments, etc.. might wanna throw that in your next tut if you do one
@onebadsarge hmmm. alright.... ill try explaining it in text. ill shoot a vid either today or tomorrow. rca cables (the red and white cord.) Or i guess cannon (big metal round w 3 holes) i plug those in the ns7 in the master and into whatever speakers i use in the input. of course make sure ur volume is being turned up slowly on each nob, so u dont blast your ears out. let me know if you've solved it.
@flyinjay007jpa Thanks bro we got the sound going out of the same speakers as yours. 18 INCH SUB! We updated to the 1.7 firmware and got issues. Don't know if its his laptop but it is a Sony with 4gig ram and duo core 2.0 processors so it should be within the system requirements. I picked up that you had 4gig ram but what's your processor? I am gonna make him sit down and watch your tutorials over and over until he can mix in his sleep. Thanks again. Peace out

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT use 1.7. there are bugs, glitches, and the bpm chart and beatmatching is not as accurate. im not the only one whos noticed. google just look up itch 1.5. thats wat i use and wont go back to 1.7 until serato updates it. comment back please so i know you're good.
im with you on 1.5. I have both 1.7 and 1.5 installed on the mac when I am at home I use 1.7 but for gigs i use 1.5. Had a couple problems and just do not trust it that much.
