This has actually happened to me. Believe it or not but I have a stalker who started on YouTube and is now contacting the university I graduated from, tracking down my address and all information he can about me. I've even had to go to the police over it. So all I can say is beware what information you put online, even what you write on YouTube, because there are some really creepy weirdos online who actually have nothing better to do with their lives.

That CNN lady is retarded...it's easy to track down anyone who uses the internet. All you need is a decent hacker or two and the individuals IP address (which also involves the hackers heh). Or...you can simply use the CIA/FBI if you have connections, the Patriot Act has done much to violate personal privacy rights.

The problem is not the internet either...it's society, there are many victims of society. The sooner we realize that our society is the real danger, the better.

Disagree. You have to be a pretty sad individual to follow someone around on the internet . Some of them must actually sit all day and watch other people rubbing there little bishop. It's laughable really, and kind of pathetic. I pity them to a certain point. They can't have much of a life really.

stalking in real life is wrong...but just visiting someones page b/c you like or dislike their stuff is fine in my opinion....people take things to far. I think it only is bad if you THREATEN someone...not post a comment on youtube.....grow up people.

your right, that's not stalking. Hacking into your computer and following you around the internet twisting your words etc is stalking. I have had some losers from quake 3 doing it for nearly 4 years now. The leader is called Dixoft Remix..aka Larry Admin on youtube. Never get involved with a nerd like him. Him and his fellow nerds have no life whatsoever.

I just had this happen this morning. TOTALLY BIZARRE. He kept asking and asking me to talk to him and I made a joke that when the Universe stops expanding, maybe then, but doubtful.
