    You ought to make the plans available online for that beasty,nice job you have done on that one!

  • Boiler itself is steel with layer of insulation and then a thin brass decorative outer layer.

  • Is that brass? If so, 60psi might be a bit much!

  • Brass and copper boilers constructed propperly can take huge presures some large copper loco boilers used to run upto 250psi sometimes more,copper and brass boilers made to work at 100psi are pressure tessted to twice working pressure before continuos use or to obtain a boiler test certificate,copper can expand and contract many more times before cracking than a steel boiler as the material is more ductile than steel,copper boilers look nicer too!
