  • fuck... don't own a gamecube :'(

  • pause at 0:37 and look, they animated on nipples

  • @Evanspar They were in the original too! :)

  • I can't see a lifebar. Does it means this game has one-hit deaths?

  • I think this was the natural progression for the franchise. Of course nothing will ever compare to the original, and that NES version was just awful. I think if they could have pulled it off before, this is how the game would have been made in the first place. However, with 3D game tech being a decade or so away they created something equally great with the available technology.

  • @Madams1977 I have a feeling Don Bluth is working on a new Dragon's Lair much like 1 & 2.

They are proving to be pretty popular on current platforms, DS, DSi, iOS, PSN, Blu-Ray.

That combined with the DL film Don has been talking about I think we will either see the movie and then an FMV game based on that or possibly a "straight to game" release for the film project if they can't get the film picked up by a large studio.

  • @videogameobsession Sounds cool

  • I never knew....

  • Pause at 0:39

  • They used the SAME FRIGGIN VOICE-OVER from the opening to the arcade game.

  • @J0hnMarl0 thats a good thing. purely nostalgia

  • I heard Don Bluth is working on a part 3 for the next gen counsels.

  • In Dragon's Lair 4

Princess Daphne and her wizard lawyer sue dirk for child support and lost dragon stock.

  • Another classic ruined by forcing 3D on it.

  • this is why disney is subliminal! did you see that princess? (p.s. the animation for dragons lair is done by one of disneys ex-animators)

  • thats a princess that worth to save!!!

    fuck peach!!

  • The best part about that game was the gorgeous hand drawn animation. 3D works for some things, but I think it's highly overrated.

  • Dragons Lair 1 = :) Dragons Lair 2 = :D Dragons Lair 3D = >:(

  • The game looks like it was made for N64.

  • If Only Don Bluth made more Wii Games starring His Characters...

  • lovely portrayals of women in these =P

  • This game was mediocre, and the freaking ending song made me WANT TO SHOVE MY CONTROLLER SO FAR UP THE CREATORS ASS HOLES!

  • Doesn't look like he made it past that barrier at the end there! LOL 1:08

  • man the guys unluckier one inthe universe.

  • its funny how they could make a DVD version (Dragon's Lair III) of this game by just using gameplay footage of this and use a system of control like the original

  • underrated game

  • this game could have been memorable if came out a few years earlier... or right now on PSN... but alas, a forgotten sequel.

  • this was a fun game, i played a bit and was impressed how they added new stuff, and kept the original sounds, and enemies, it's always nice to see some old with the new... thanks for the upload...

  • Wow it looks good indeed.

  • i have nentendo power mother fucker this is real

  • I prefer the 2D interactive cartoon game.

  • it's still the same game concept just 3D, still fast pased and trial and error

  • @deedia you dont realy mean that playing a preprogrammed cartoon sucks ass

the game cube version is more fun

  • @devuurheer clearly, how many jump'n runs do you know? Thousand or more for sure. And the dragon's lair gc-version is on of them totaly common like Spyro, Crash, Rayman, Kya, bla bla bla bla. but the 2D Verson was something special i known it from the early 90s and it is a little bit game history.

  • @deedia Special like every other game being released during the CD-ROM boom in the early 90's on PC/Sega CD/3DO and more. Not saying the original doesn't have a place. I'm just saying this version is extremely underrated and the original, while very unique when it was released, got copied to death soon after.

  • @deedia 'Least it looks better than the platform versions that were on Atari, NES and SNES.

  • wow her outfit got even smaller

  • @apex2000 That much more incentive to get to the end of the game.

  • @apex2000

YES!! And I love it too XD

  • @apex2000

you say it like it's a bad thing lol

  • anyone know how the hell yoo get past Coffin Trouble? do yoo just have to jump or have I missed something?

  • Never mind, I just got it, bat essense duh :P

  • In the original all the boss does is make babies XD

  • Is this game good?

  • this game is sick ive beatin it

  • it was made by a disney animator

  • they couldt doit in the nes and still cant leave dragon lair for the arcade nintendo

  • What makes you think Nintendo had anything to do with either version? Idiot.

  • @SpFiota Wow, you're not just an idiot, you're a liar.

  • this game is so freaking hard!

  • Yeah, very pathetic.... maybe you should tell some other people that, like, hmm.... NOSTALGIA CRITIC, for example? Fact is, most people can think a cartoon chick can be hot. You are an outsider for thinking otherwise.

  • the anime chick is so hot....

  • 2 words.. .DA YUM. I don't remember Daphne wearing that! SRSLY! Well Don Bluth, I couldn't have done better myself. And I am a forced to be reconed with when it comes to drawing the female anatomy in cartoon form. DAYUM!

  • Seems pretty hard to control. How this series have made so much games, even I haven't like single one of them?

  • I kinda prefer the animated sequences of the old game despite the game play. I'm certainly willing to get this though. It looks great. That and I lack the equipment to play the original

  • is excelent ,good quality

  • ..\So that basically made it so that you have actual control over Dirk instead of relying on timed button presses? Great concept, just a few years late :)

This would've ROCKED if it came out a few years after the original.

  • I haven't played it, but I can tell that I like it. The 3D looks good and has the feel of the original. Looks like a good fun game for me.

  • this looks like a disney movie

  • Don Bluth produced Dragon's Lair, and he used to work for Disney.

  • Yea. He designed Elliot in Pete's dragon.

  • then he got well.

  • Yeah, but he is also famous for works after Disney, such as An American Tail and The Land Before Time.
