there is a shop called muji

in nearly every capital in europe(London,Paris,Munich,Düs­seldorf,...).

there you can find not just origami paper but also many typical japanise stuff.

No, it's a video to illustrate a precreasing method for origami tessellations. The idea is to fold the paper into a grid of equilateral triangles, and this is a really fast way to do it.

yes, it's regular 6 inch (15cm) kami- the stuff you get in big packs.

You fold it yourself from regular paper. (Wouldn't it be nice if you could just buy it pre-folded?)

Well, when you make pre-creased paper with an equilateral triangle grid, it allows you to make all sorts of tessellations... I'll see if I can whip together a video of something, I've been meaning to do that for a while.

I have a book on tessellations that is being published in the fall of 2007, called "Origami Tessellations", which will have a number of patterns as well as a nice basics section describing how it is all done. It's being published by Lark Books.

ive made two tesselations already. ^^ they look so cool... i wanna buy your book... but i don't think im gonna be able to buy it... i live way.... in the philippines... i dont know how to read pdf thingies... the ones with the crease patterns... i cant figure it out... i recently downloaded the iso-area offset triangle and i dont get it... tell me HOW TO READ THESE CREASE PATTERN THINGS!!! PLEASE!!!
