Continued: He is protective, patient, fast, and strong. He is dog and people friendly, but he kills small animals because the scumbags never fed him. He was a living skeleton with a buried food bowl and a water bucket full of dirt when I got him. He was starved and lonely, but now he is healthy and happy. I have even had six people compliment me on him when we run. Even when he passes, my memories of him will never die. And you can bet that I'll be rescuing another.

This is what people need to see. Instead, they see the reports of a Pitbull that has been either unsocialized, neglected, or abused--sometimes all of the above--attacking someone. I dream of a day that haters will stop blaming the dog and blame the B.S. owners. If they ban the Pitbull--one of the most loving dog breeds--then scumbag owners will just get another dog, and it will be worse. I rescued mine from some punk girls who stopped caring for him when he got bigger.

@gshadowcrossgmailcom Hey, I know the feeling. I rescued mine too, but Jeff--my Pitbull--was a puppy when I got him. He came up to me, and it was love at first sight, even though he was on the skinny side. But I could easily fix that. I said, "hey there little baby." Then an old lady came outside and said, "you want him? He's yours." I don't want to think about the life he would have lived if I didn't show up. But still, I believe that he has done more good for me.

I have a pitbull.His name is Sharky.We saved him.Sharky had scares from fights,infected ears,bad teath,and much more.He looked horrible and no one wanted him.Week after week we would go there looking for a dog and i would see him in his cage and a sticker on it counting the days down to when they would put him to sleep.Finally i cried and my parents agreed to adopt him.He was very mellow when we got him and he refused to eat and what scared each time i raised my hand to pet him.NowHeIsFine<3Pits

my neighbor used to own a pitbull, but then some dude came by and kicked for no reason saying it was self deffense when all mika (the pitbull) was trying to do was say hi, he didnt even go within 2 meters of the man and he kicked poor mika, and she died 2 weeks later because of i fractures skull, i miss her and i bet beth does too, and the man didnt even get charged, even though me and beth saw EVERYTHING <//3

@cocodog00 that really breaks my heart and makes my blood boil, all at the same time. That's terrible and not fair! I hate how people judge before they really know a dog. I can't believe the man didn't get any sort of punishment. God will give that man what's coming to him..justice will be served for poor Mika! R.I.P.♥

I am the very proud owner to 4 beautiful chihuahuas and one very amazing pit bull that loves us and protects us. Who curls up with me just like my little ones and likes kisses and belly rubs just like my chihuahuas. The ONLY thing mean about pit bulls are the OWNERS!!!!!!SHAME ON THOSE PEOPLE!!! Pit bulls are very sensitive, caring, obedient and loyal dogs.

NO TO BSL!! LOVED THE KISSING Dogs!! My Sister owns a Pit Bull and He is wonderful with chldren and a wonderful protector. Nothing mean about this dog. They simply enjoy what we all want. LOVE.

This is crazy. It has nothing to do with the breed of dog.....it's the owners who TRAIN dogs to be vicious. The owners who do this should be banned from ever owning pets and prosecuted. ok anyway, the song used here is the instrumental version of the song "Shattered" by Trading Yesterday. The normal version of this song is on itunes, but the instrumental isnt. the normal version is just as good, trust me! its my favorite song ever, the lyrics couldnt be any more perfect

Norway is the copy cat country. if someone bans something in another country because its labeled dangerous, well then we sure as hell gotta do it too! it really saddens me, cause I really really want a pittbull, but I have to leave my own country to get one... easy choice when I think about it ;)

Oh...yes i did notice @ 01:48 too...that was sooooooo cute, the pit kisssing the other pit on the check..adorable..as those here i see agree...we know how loving this breed really is..it is the owners that do the bad thing..i think chihuaha are more scary than a pit bull..really...the smaller the animal..the more apt they are to bite..unless...well, you know..the rest of the story...happy to see you are getting such great response...thanks again..mary

@allisonewe those dogs were BEST FRIENDS, they loved each other! their ending was bittersweet--they both got adopted, but not together :( at least they both have families, though!

i agree about the chihuahua. i mean i like them and everything, but they can be super scary..LOL. the only dog i've ever been bit by is a Cocker Spaniel. and not even from a rescue or pound it was my best friends dog! so even after dealing with scared and "unpredictable" dogs, i was bit by a dog i knew for years.

Pitbulls are like any dog, if they are showed love and gentleness that's how they respond. Any dog taught to be over aggressive will be over aggressive.

But that was mostly down to their owners fault.

I have 2 pit bulls next door on my left and 2 next door on my right. And my dog is part pit bull. I'm friends with them all because when they were young i made an effort to get to know them. It's the people that train them to be mean that are to blame. Any dog can be aggressive if it's trained to be.But people are afraid of pit bulls and Rottweilers because their jaws are so strong that they can do more damage than other breeds if they bite people. Perhaps they should be registered.

Pitbulls are one of the most loyal and friendly breeds if they are shown love from the beginning. It becomes a problem when they are bred to become monsters. Stop these monstrous people who take advantage of this strong loyal streak.
