reminds me of the good food my grand ma used make. I would always look forward to visit her and her cooking. I was too young and she never showed me how to make this. Thank you for your video. Do you ever make a kind of paprikash with sour cream? I would love to learn how to make that one too. Tony
@Rotorzilla Thank you so much Tony for the wonderful comment, it made me feel so good to know that my video reminded you of your grandma's cooking. Yes, I make Chicken Paprikash with sour cream as well. I will make a video with that as well. I will let you know when it's uploaded. Take care , Helen
This is wonderful, I did not know there was csirke porkolt. I make beef porkolt all the time and we love it. Thanks for the information and the video!
I just want to say I ADORE THIS LADY!!!!! I made this with a few tweaks (sour cream) seasoning and deboning the breasts and I am confident to deliver this to my customers tomorrow!! I can't watch Helen ENOUGH!!!!!
@traciholz You're so sweet, I'm the Helen of the video. I will make Chicken Paprikash with sour cream one day, I promise. I alo many times remove the bones from it as well. I would be happy to hear how your customers liked the recipe. Good luck and I'm glad you have fun with recipe. Take care
@TRUTHLIGHTANDLOVE No, not in this dish. That is another dish. Chicken Paprikash is "Csirke Porkolt" in Hungarian. That is what I made. What you are thinking of is "Tejfolos Csirke Paprikash" (roughly translated Chicken Paprikash with sour cream) . In Hungary these are two different dishes. They are both wonderful in their own right. Happy New Year by the way.
This has to be one of the best things I've ever seen on you tube. I'm going to cook this tonight. I know it'll taste great because of how simply she explained it all. Simply. Traditional home cooking at its best. Who needs G Ramsey and J Oliver? This is the real deal. A big thank you to your mother and to you for posting this.
@The1701defiant Thank you so much for enjoying the video and the recipe. Good luck with the cooking, I hope that you will let us know how it turned out. I love my Mom's cooking as well, not only because it tastes fantastic, but also because she explains it so well. After all, it is a very simple recipe. She's asking me to let you know that the liquid of the Paprikash at the end, should be like a very loose grave. Bon apetite, Helen
