go to the directory where NTLDR is in. they should be on C (you have to make sure you can see hidden stuff). copy that ntldr to another place on your pc. When you get "ntldr is missing". you use a live cd for another os. for example ubuntu. you enter the windows system via that live cd. go to the directory where you made your copy and copy it back to where it belongs. you unmount the windows data thingy on your desctop and restart. done. :)
You can be getting the "Missing NTLDR" for many reasons: the NTLDR file (or even the HD) may have gotten corrupt along the way, added a new HD and forgot to set jumpers or configure settings properly from CMOS, misconfiguration with the boot.ini file, installed a corrupted version of the OS, loose wirings, computer is set to boot from a source or device that does not contain the NTLDR file (setting windows to boot from USB drive, floppy drive, card drive, before booting from HD) and so on.

i know how to sort that becuase when i retsrated my computer acer aspire 5735 4gb 160gb intel core 2 duo said ntdlr if missing! to sort that you need the recovery disc i fixed it with the windowsrevory disc seletcted fix start up repair and restarted and it worked fixed what operating system do you have! i might be able to help you

Some Model Have the recovery console, so if you have a recovery partition you can make a bootable DVD out of it. If you Didin't delete the partition already, changed your hdd, etc.
ok, listen to make a boot disk pretty easy, put disk A into PC, then go to drivers, right click on driver A: - and you should have there an option to make a boot disk.
