I eat a big breakfast usually with a fruit (I find oranges stay with me longer), some water, and then something fiber filled because it takes your stomache a long time to process it. I'm in school so My normal lunch time is around 12-1 PM and that's after my last time eating at 6:45 AM, then I bring a snack or just a sandwhich for lunch (Not very big because it can hold me off till I get out of school at 3) and then at dinner I eat slow so by the time I'm half way through, I'm full :D
@meg504 no its not. think about how much you eat daily. right it all down including chewing gum and even little bites that you stole off your friend's snack. you probably end up eating over 1800kcals per day
Can you please please please do a video on how to slim thighs and butt down. My waist and upper body is really skinny and so are my shins but I have huge thighs. I can't wear skinny jeans without feeling self conscious and I look ridiculous whenever I wear long shirts. Help!
If my health class taught me anything, it would be that skipping meals is not healthy and you can actually gain pounds that way too. Also if you eat little meals and snacks through the day, it could help you get a faster metabolism (:

Thanks for the hints but remember you're a big influence. It disturbs me that kids aged 11 are watching this and eating half of their meals. You do have some great tips, but please remember you're not a nutritionist and thus don't really have the education to give these tips out. For example, you can't cut a homemade, well-portioned meal in half. You tell them to gauge whether they're hungry or not, but I don't see a self-conscious teenager being honest to themselves about how hungry they are.

I don't know if this makes any sense, but I do slouch a lot... and I think I do it more than normal being a college student carrying around a heavy backpack and such. But when I do try and sit up straight or stand straight, I get really bad lower back pain. Is there any way to reduce/prevent that or why does that happen?

Since I go to school it keeps me awake and I'm not as hungry as I used to be when I would come home. I try to drink a lot of water too, like you said. Also one thing I do is if I'm having a strong craving, I eat it. Not in a large portion, but so that I don't feel like I'm punishing myself. ANYWAY lol thanks again for posting.

@Imperfectionstyles you gain or build muscle when you lift. even though it doesn't seem beneficial because the scale number isn't going down, muscle will eventually burn fat. don't be too obsessed with how much you weigh. just keep eating healthy and working out and you'll see a change! and don't worry too much about losing weight. somehow the stress impedes your success.
easiest way to loose weight is to not eat all the crap at stores. naturally our foods, protiens, veggies, fruits, grains etc, do NOT have all of the crap you see on the nutrition value lables. Rule of thumb: if a food item contains complex words that not even a 3rd grader cannot pronounce, don't even eat it. Natural killd off animal meat is way healtheir than meat at a grocceries store. Our bodies can eat plenty of natural things w/o being overweight.. natural is better than processed.

The plate idea is BRILLIANT!! thanks for sharing these tips. I've also heard eating small portions frequently helps as well. Your body acknowledges that it will be getting food soon so your fat and sugar less likely be stored and used instead.
What I am doing now is counting calories... I know it sounds complicated but it´s not. I have lost 7 pounds in 3 months no diet at all. I get to eat what I want, its just that you learn how to eat. . I use a free online counting calorie program and its does all the work for me, you just type in what you ate during the day and it calculates everything for you!
@juicyglitter28 I get hungry around breakfast,lunch and dinner time. You can't starve yourself either. YOur body will store the fat because it doesn't know when you will eat again. good luck!

Perhaps you should ask your doctor or an endocrinologist to check up on you.

These tips are pretty much common sense. How old are you? Its SUPER easy to maintain your weight in your 20s because your metabolism works just fine. I think you do great videos, but this one wasnt one of my favs.

What I am doing now is counting calories... I know it sounds complicated but it´s not. I have lost 7 pounds in 3 months no diet at all. I get to eat what I want, its just that you learn how to eat. . I use a free online counting calorie program and its does all the work for me, you just type in what you ate during the day and it calculates everything for you!

@juicyglitter28 I get hungry around breakfast,lunch and dinner time. You can't starve yourself either. YOur body will store the fat because it doesn't know when you will eat again. good luck!

@pursebuzz Also, if you think your body's fullness signal isn't working, or that you don't have one, it could be the cause of a hormonal imbalance, like PCOS (what Lauren Luke mentions she has in older videos), or possible diabetes II, or hyperthyroidism. All can have the symptom of never feeling full, because the body isn't getting the signal that it has adequate blood sugar level. Perhaps you should ask your doctor or an endocrinologist to check up on you.

These tips are pretty much common sense. How old are you? Its SUPER easy to maintain your weight in your 20s because your metabolism works just fine. I think you do great videos, but this one wasnt one of my favs.
