@Oceanic180 Perhaps your powers of perception are broken? As of yet we know that Zachary Quinto(AKA Sylar) wants his wife dead. He thinks the cop lady is an assasin and is trying to pay her. This lady is a copy who recorded the conversation, but then had the tape stolen by some smooth talking guy. She then tries to track him down. The rest is obviously just character introduction. And that's what happened in the last 15.
