  • This video touched me I think it shows how great of a person you are that you didn't let your father get to you and make you live your life the way your father wants you to and not how you want to.I can relate a lot to this video and don't really have people in my life that i know might not agree with who or what i do but still accept me.

  • @yevy37 Thanks so much. You are very sweet :) I'm glad you have accepting people in your life.

  • Hey I'm sorry about your Dad but very glad that your Mom supports you. I feel really bad for my best friend. You see he is gay but he will never ever be able to tell his parents or any of his family for that matter. They would all disown him and I think they believe it is a choice. They have yelled at him about it before but he denied being gay. Because he is my best friend I want the best for him. I want him to be able to have a healthy open relationship but I don't see that happening 4 him :(

  • @word501682 That sounds like such a tough situation. How old is your friend? I truly hope he manages to remove himself from that situation. If he needs someone to talk to, please send him my way.

  • @Jimplicit He will be 20 in November. And I just wish for a way out for him as well. And thank you

  • You make me want to come out to you about my personal problems...good job. And you deserve a shiz load more views.

  • @FallenBov Thanks, Buddy. Feel free to send me a message anytime.

  • @Jimplicit ::: No prob

  • Your dad sounds just like my dad, and my mom would be a "gentler" version of your dad. I have a strained detente style relationship with them.

  • @gustjorodedheo I hope they eventually come around. They would be fools not to.

  • Your dad and my dad sound like they'd be BFF'S.

  • @WhoAreYouNewYork I'm sorry to hear that.

  • @Jimplicit Yeah it was hard but I had to move on with my life. He just doesn't understand the fact that I'm not going to change myself to make him happy... oh well, they just can't handle our fierceness ;) lmao

  • @WhoAreYouNewYork Kudos to you for moving on and not letting him hold you back.

    Yay for fierceness!! :)

  • I wish you all the happiness in the world.

  • @TheRC120 Thank you so much :) I wish the same for you.

  • @ValkyrieVegan2 Thank you so much, Mary. A great big hug to you too! I'm not planning on taking my dad's advice, but if I do, you'll be the first to know!

  • Excellent video Jim! You don't seem to need any consolation because you're so well grounded. But just in case you need a pick-me-up, don't worry about being thrown into God's Universal Torture Chamber...it doesn't exist. A good god would never have created such a thing. If you still embrace the idea of a good god existing then it'll love you despite your dad's beliefs. By all means thoroughly enjoy your life with Charles - you two together make the world a better place.

  • @zeek72358 Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. It astonishes me that people prefer to believe in a spiteful, cruel god instead of a compassionate one.

  • Dear Jim's Dad,

    Your god is a douche.

  • @noahtye LOL! Noah, you are awesome.

  • you are so strong to have gone through that ^_^ don't ever forget how awesome you are!

  • @ruismonster I'll try not to. And I definitely won't forget how awesome you are :)

  • Well said! Thank you for sharing.

  • @beautifullife787 You are very welcome. Thank you for watching :)

  • That was wonderful 2:^D

  • @gregvstheuniverse Thanks Greg!

  • i don't know what to say, i just want to say something.....

maybe in the lines of thanking you for sharing your story.

or more probably sharing my youtube-buddy love and support

but i think i'l settle for reminding you you're an awesome individual :)

  • @yosiberman Yosi, you're such a sweetheart. Thank you so much :)

  • Great video well done

  • @depfox Thanks so much! That means a lot coming from you guys :)

  • o geeeeeeeeeeeeez

  • thanks you, Jim. You and I have some similarities other than our hairstyle! You've provoked me to want to share...but it's way to long to share on this comment. I'll have to share it with you another time, perhaps the next time I'm in LA.

  • @bulldawg570 That would be awesome! Are you coming here soon?

  • @Jimplicit - I'll be in LA this November. We definitely must get together! My trip would be incomplete if we don't

  • You and yours are loved buddy :-)

  • @THEROBBIEKSHOW Thanks, Mister! You are loved as well :)

  • Wow.. o an congrats on 400 u beat me lol

  • @BunnieBoizMYFONE I hadn't even realized I was there yet. Thanks!

  • That's heavy.

  • Thank you for sharing your story with us. Your story REALLY touched me and I could relate to a lot of what you were saying.

YES, we all have the right to be loved and accepted for who we truly are!!! It hurts when those we want acceptance from choose not to. YES, the ability to love someone is innate within all of us and is a beautiful and enriching thing if we are open to it.

I hope I will always be like your mother - to love and accept people for who they are.

  • @MrEmichan I'm glad my story touched you. Thank you for being an open-minded, accepting person. This world needs more of such people. It's a shame when people choose to be fearful and judgmental instead of loving and accepting.

  • @jimplicit

    Ciao Bello!

Bless you "Buddy" for having been raised in the bosom of "Holy Mother Church"! Though not "Roman Catholic" myself, I am all too aware of what that can imply! Though the Church has in it's lengthy history had some wonderful "glories", it also has been culpable for numerous, unspeakably cruel and senseless crimes!

    Il Suo Amico

    Blaine

  • @blainebill39 Thanks. The church has definitely had an interesting effect on my life. If it doesn't adapt with the times, I have a feeling it will diminish.

  • I missed ur intro! I bet you'll probably be talking a lot about this in your vlog on 5 tomorrow. Sorry to hear about your father, mines the same, only worse. Its gotten to the point now where he doesn't speak to me. Hope your dad eventually comes around, although after so long it's doubtful, but still even so, I hope he does!

  • @bradleyvoorheesjams Sorry to hear your dad is even worse. Let's hope the next generation of dads is more understanding than ours. I didn't use the intro because I didn't think it'd be appropriate on a serious video.

  • you could not be more right about everything you've said in this video.. wish u all the best between your relationship with your father Jim

  • @dzee10 Thanks. Only time will tell how it all pans out.

  • Your such a nice person.

  • @FromTheFOD Thank you :) So are you!

  • Liked Liked Liked! Subscribed you speak so truthfully. :-)

  • @jonescity Thanks! And thanks for subscribing :)

  • Love you Jim. <3

  • @rawrisluv I love you too Kris :)
