  • 1976

  • Am I the only one who likes the 1976 one?

  • where was king kong on 9/11?? he could had swatted the planes away

  • Why he is climb the tower..

  • The 1976 version caused 9/11. Al Qaeda was watching a bootleg of it, and decided they needed to kill Kong. Fuck that movie.

  • @LanesClassicComedy95 it was armaggedon in 1998. in that movie one of the tower gets destroyed

  • So glad they didn't make the twin tower Sean after 9/11.

  • For King Kong Lives, they replaced John Barry's score with John Scott's.

  • wtc 1976 first battle...........

  • WTC - I'm the King Kong of the World :P

  • There is nothing like the original King Kong in 1933. Period! The 1976 version was not bad at all. The ending when Kong felled to the ground from the Twin Tower Building where his breathing was getting slower and slower until it stopped, while that sad music was playing, was the highlight of the 1976 version. That part is soo sad that it makes me cry every time. I haven't seen the 2005 version, but from what I've heard, it ranks third.

  • @tommiexander 1933 is the best of the 3 movies and 1976 is the worst of the 3 movies the 2005 was good much better than 1976 but still 1933 is better! watch the deluxe extended edtion in the 2005 movie

  • I feel the 76' version was to "different" then the 2005 and 33' movies. It was OK but still last in my opinion. The only thing that was cool about the 76 version is that it had the Twin Towers. The Empire State Building climb is more memorable though. But we all have our favorites.

  • 2005 was the saddest i actully cried when kong died

  • 1933: best film ever

    1976:sucked donkey balls

2005: good as the first one

  • All the Kong deaths are so sad.

  • 2005

  • I hate 2005 ! 1933 and 1976 are good !

  • @67tr876 1933 is the best but 2005 is way better than 1976!

  • "I grew up with the '76 version(5 years old) and it will always have a special place in my heart!"

  • haha. classic. the 1st is the best

  • The 2005 is the best version, all tought i didn't like the stupid insect pit scene.

  • It's hated simply because its different. Theirs no Dinosaurs included, and Kong himself doesn't have that charm as lets say the '33 and '05 versions had. It's not a bad film, however out of the 3, it would get ranked last in my opinion. However, I'd still take it over King Kong Lives, and King Kong vs. Godzilla, those are just cheesy B-Movies..

  • @TheThingKing There's no way King Kong could even hang with Godzilla. Godzilla's skin is as hard as diamonds and he can regenerate wounds

  • @TheThingKing king kong vs godzilla was one of the most succesful movies of its time, it may be cheasy, but its not a b-movie, as for king kong lives, AAAAAASSSSSSSSSS

  • @TheThingKing nononononono, kong vs godzilla is a cheesy b-movie, king kong lives is just a pile of dog turd mixed with baby diharrea

  • why does everyone hate the 76 one what the hell is wrong with it? it looks like a fine movie to me

  • I saw the 2005 version in theaters, and I fell asleep. The ending was sad though.

  • you probably fell asleep during the first hour. the last 2 hours are awesome.

  • yeah i understand why u fell asleep but if u watch the whole movie fully its good as hell you just have to get into it but yeah peter jackson was probally just trying to make more relation ship with the characters so it was longer

  • I'l giive you this: The much maligned 1976 movie was better than Peter Jackson's 2005 version. Some reasons: Bridges, Grodin, young Jessica Lange, rest of cast, humor (especially Grodin), idea of shipping him to New York in a Supertanker (Raft made no sense) and terrific score by John Barry (Out Of Africa, etc.)

  • women are still killing "kings"

  • i cried when he dided, i loved him

  • poor kong. he died 3 times.

  • the twin tower scene was very lame ... shame for those amazing towers btw i dont know what about u guys but i bearly could see that those towers were the twins

  • The video was too dark, but the original 1976 film shows the Twin Towers clearly. Everyone may have their own favorite but to me, who was a 7 year-old child when I saw King Kong for the first time in 1976, the 70's version has been and will always be the undisputed number one in my memory and in my heart. 1933 is also good; 2005, sorry, really bad despite the technology. Peter Jackson's remake was a glaring over-the-top disappointment.

  • 1976 version sucked cock

  • no it didnt!

  • yeah im sorry the order is 1933,2005,and thats it 1976 isn't even on the list

  • 1933 was cool , 1976 eh.. , and 2005 was verry deep and made me cry

  • Couldn't agree with you more..1933 was cool to make him like a beast and a monster. 1976 made no sense at all. 2005 was one of the most emotional movies since Titanic.

  • 1976 rocks

  • Why did they have to have him climb the World Trade Center? :(

  • @hackensac are you blonde or retarded? back then in 1976 they didnt know that was going to happen to it.

  • @pizzafan1234 replacing the empire state building with the twin towers was a stupid idea in the first place (before and after 9/11) you moron

  • the 1970's Kong was very very bad

  • I PREFER THE 1976 VERSION !

  • 2005 is better

  • Ofcourse it was better, the Cinematography, The Effects, The coloring , the Background , The Lighting, the Acting, the Horror, the Romance, the Cast....

but you can never ignore the original, a box office legend

  • i love it in the 1933 how he bouncs of the wall!!!

  • sad ending

  • where was king kong when twin towers under attack!

  • he was dead again but wait he comes back again yeah where was he

  • the 2005 ending made me cry, seriously

  • same

  • i laughed

  • yeah like in the 1933 version i didnt care if kong died in 2995 i did

  • i liked the 2005 version alot but i prefer the 1976 version just seemed more real!

  • The best King Kong Film is the 1933 one, followed by the 2005 Version and in last place by an extremely large margin is the 1976 Version...

  • ah! how can you say that! the kong fall of the 1933 film was better than peter jackson's kong fall...come on now.

  • no, you forgot about King kong 2 moive in 1986

there was king kong 2 movie in the 80s'

  • '33 had a scary "girl examination scene".

    '76 had a corny/horny "girl examination scene".

    '05 had no examination scene.

  • the ending to jacksons king kong is really sad

  • The 1933 original version is my favourite movie of all time.I also like '76 + '05 versions alot too.

The '33 version was such a ground breaking movie for that genre,as was Metropolis for it's genre.

The use of Rear projection in king Kong '33 was the first time it had been used in any movie, and about a million and 1 times ever since!

    I love the monster movies,Jurassic Park 1,2 + 3 etc!

  • i love the 1933 king kong i like the 2005 one

but the one in 1976 its rubbish

  • In look only. Fay Wray HATED Kong. There was never one moment where she felt sympathy for the beast. That only came in the much-maligned 1976 version. Jessica Lange, at the end, adored Kong. Whether he likes it or not, Peter Jackson payed homage to BOTH movies.

  • wat ya mean

  • I agree

  • lol its so funny when you think tht the 1933 version was stop motion with an action figure sized monkey...lol

and the 1976 is a guy in a monkey suit lmao xDxD

its so obvious the 2005 version is ultimatly the best!

  • I just watched the 30's one, and I seen the 2005 one in theatres. Though I like the 30's one, I like the 2005 one more. I didn't even know there was one made in 76.

  • I realley think the 1976-remake is underrated.

  • The original, OK, it´s the original. We can´t compare, it was made in the 30s!! It´s great for a 30s movie

But the best of the best is KING KONG 1976!!!!!!!!

The WORST of the worst is Peter Jackson´s party of FX, that boring thing of 2005!!!

  • cuasipornio

My PC cant play or read DVDS, but now that Ive got a laptop which can play DVDS there will be a DVD quality version Coming Soon.

  • What a lousy video! Recording with your cam the TV Screen? If you want to share something, at least make it with quality. How much could you spend on a Video Capture card?

  • And what does "Tubular Bells" from the Exorcist has to do with Kong?

  • I have a thing for the great 76 Kong because they brought the same story to the then present. I wish the 33 Kong could have been done on a twin towers, but they didn't exist then. And I wish the 05 Kong could have been set in contemporary 2005, but kept to the story as close as they did. All in all, I love them all, because they were all different in so many ways and they were all labors of love to make them happen. The seventies, remember, were very different. Big snakes and helicopters, etc.

  • this is a sad movie because my 9 year old brother was crtying wen king kong ell off the empire state buildin

  • haloween music

  • this is the same backroundmusic as nigahigas stalking mangina

  • When I think of 9/11 I always say to myself: Where was King Kong when we needed him?

  • JEWBEESUEBEE

I didnt own the 1976 version at the time I recorded this video, so thats why I had to use the footage from King Kong Lives. I do own the 76 version now and yes its alot different.

  • fa moc a mamt

  • One more thing. I wish the creator of this video would have used the World Trade Center scenes from the actual 1976 movie and not the opening of the 1986 King Kong Lives. The music and sound effects were redone for that movie. and do not capture the true mood of the scene.

  • 1976 kong was just terrible.

  • King Kong fought planes on the Twin Towers in 1976...HOW NICE IF IT WAS REAL AND BATTLING THE TWO FUCKING PLANES ON 9/11/2001 AND THOUSANDS OF LIVES WOULD BE SAVED!!!

  • King Kong fought planes on the Twin Towers in 1976...HOW NICE IF IT WAS REAL AND BATTLING THE TWO FUCKING PLANES ON 9/11/2001 AND THOUSANDS OF LIVES WOULD BE SAVED!!!

  • 2005 truly the best of the 3. However they all were magnifiscant to me. But 05 was the saddest of them all due in no small part to the soundtrack. i saw it 5 times in the theater and every time I had a hard time keeping back the emotions felt, all because of that music.

  • I CRIED MY EYES OUT

  • they still need to make king kong at the chrysler building. and then the freedom tower when it is finished

  • the 2005 version is the best

  • I like how kong looked in the 76 vers , the emotion in 05 and monsters in 33.

  • did they eat kong after as road kill

  • king kong was on the towers in 76?????? why couldnt he be on there on 9/11/2001

  • Does anyone else find it a little creppy that in the 70's one he's on the twin towers fighting off planes??

  • heli's

  • There'll be no 1976 or 2005 versions if 1933 sucked.

  • yea but they'd be better then 1933

  • I think they got the scale of the trade towers wrong during the scenes that kong is climbing up them. He should have looked a little smaller than he did. But his body seems to extend 20 or so floors, when it should only extend about 3 or 4 at the most.

  • I love the 05 version

  • Dude, we gotta get you some digital A/V cables.

  • Yes I know, the reason why the quality is crap is because I used a USB connection to transfer it from my camcorder to the PC. You will find that all the other Kong videos have better picture quality then this apart from King Kong log scenes.

  • What the '76 and '05 versions do that '33 doesn't is there is a relationship between Ann (Dwan) and Kong. In '33, she is always scared of him, and that's why 2005 version is my favorite.

  • I noticed that too. I like the 05 version.

  • I have a fondness for all 3 of these flicks. The '33 version was revolutionary for it's time. No one had seen anything like it then. Every monster flick is spawn from this film. To me, the best of the 3.

  • The '76 version is the one I can most relate to. That's the NY from my childhood. The 59th St. bridge, graffiti on the trains. Hell, the fact that when he took out the train and it was the RR Astoria line (now the N and W lines) makes me miss those days. And the WTC, nuff said. I miss it everyday.

  • And the '05 version. Jackson made a visually stunning work. The recreation of Depression Era NY was AWESOME. Every friggin detail, perfection. It was an hour too long, but still a good movie. It had more emotion than the other flicks. And that Kong looked more like a gorilla than the other two.

  • the fact in kong (1933) they cut the music out in his last moments adds more sadness to the scene i think

  • I personally think the 1933 version was the best, I think it brought out the emotion more. I didn't feel sad much when I first saw it, because I thought "good he's dead, the threat is over" but now that I see it, it really is sad. Maybe if they'd just have left him alone...

  • i dont like the end they are allways killing monkey !!!

  • the 1933 version is by far the best. I love the last plane, that finally kills him. The producer and director of the movie were at the controls

  • When i watched the second one, i thought "man, this one looks like it's 4 o'clock in the mornin, with no lights in the city, and clouds covering the sky... This sucks! Although when i watched the third one i realized that it's darker than it was in theaters so that means his TV is fucking dark not the movie!!!!!

  • i only remember the 1976 version vaguely. i was about 4 when i saw it. but i think that it was better than the 2005 because it was less sappy and, as a kid, it sticks in your mind.

  • Meh I preferred Naomi Watts in the 2005 version. Faye Ray just screamed her lungs out.

  • Yes she did a LOT

I was like shut up already.

So yea I prefer Naomi Watts.

  • Faye Ray was the best "Anne Darrow!"

  • i cried at this when i was young. im twenty seven now and still think its sad.

  • It was not a theme used in the Halloween movies.I have seen all of them and watch them every night..

  • ok Well like I said I didn't download the theme someone just told me it was the theme used in the Halloween movies.

  • Can you upload King Kong 1976 all of the scenes where he is shot on the twin towers

  • ????

  • il video fa cagare e la musica dell'esorcista all'inizio non centra una mazza. comunque il più figo è quello del '33

  • Well I didn't download it but somebody told me it was a theme used in the Halloween movies.

  • The Song at the beginning is not from any halloween movie, but from "The Exorcist" composed by Mike Oldfield:-)

  • Cheers ;) and the song is just a Theme from one of the Halloween movies.

  • good video. whats the song at the beginning?

  • cheers guys I'm glad you liked it.

  • this would have been alot cooler if you showed king kong fighting the planes. but great video though.:)

  • Movies now-a-days are better than any movie from the past and this is proof! That scene from 2005 Kong was amazing.

  • lol pwned at 2:31

  • The 1933 King Kong was scary. I saw it last night. The 1976 Kong was quite quite graphic and gruesome. The 2005 Kong was a work of art. This video is kind of interesting the way it blended all the movie together.

  • lol. look how crudy king kong looked in the 1950s. Now he rocks!

  • They should have Kong alone on the island, putting that aside, why are they so stupid? That island was a goldmine, so what Kong is dead go back and get a T-Rex or something.

  • why didnt they just leave him alone

  • cause hed hav squished everyone and everything

  • new king king movie is better than the old one

  • this video king kong was originally made 1933.. The twin towers were not erected until many years larer.

  • the 1933 version was okay the 1976 sucked and the 2005 was the best

  • Can anybody tell me what the fighter planes are,i think they are Curtis Navy Bi-Planes,but iam not sure.

    any help would be useful

  • there WWI hell divers

  • ann darrow is as tall as the pole on the top of esb hahahahah

  • the 70's kong sux!

  • I have to agree with you there man.

    Great video!

  • Thanks PaulOpinion :)

  • Place your video directly in front of the television not to the side. Is there something creative here?

  • lol

  • I'm happy you liked it glodsbride86 and Thank you for the comment.

  • good old stop/go annimation. thanx for postin! some of the old movies were the best. look at clash of the titans its brilliant !!!

  • But props to Peter Jackson he did a very nice job

  • Thank you :)

  • The Original 1933 version is still my favorite. It really capured my imagination. and it is still amazing how thay show so much emmotion in such crude technology. It is still truely heart wrenching.

  • its guy like you who make youtube a better website

  • they had to hold down copyright so they used those alone with the twin tower ending

  • The video sucks, but your heart was in the right place. Poor Kong :(

  • My pleasure JONIBONI I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comments everyone :]

  • Thanks for the cool video! Really good idea!

  • I love it how in the 1933 version how he falls and hits the empire state building

  • these scenes always made me cry as a child, and even now at 40 i cant watch it[the poor ape]

  • Thanks everybody for the comments I am currently making a new Kong clip it will be up soon.

  • Where the fuck was king kong on 9/11? lol, basterd

  • lol the 1933 king kong rofl. using the twin towers wasnt a good ideas for the '76 film in fact the '76 film was crapp 2005 one was best

  • 2005 was the best remake of them. Maybe the best film overall. However never forget the 1933 verson that first captured the immaginations of millions and when a young peter jackson first saw it made him want to be a director (and were all glad he did). It has to be one of the best films ever made.(1933)

  • I've always dispised the WTC endin in '76. I love the way Kong just stands there flapping like a chicken while he's being shot at.

    Great video though.

  • Thank you for making this. I've recently been wanting to see all three side-by-side, and there you were! lol

  • the WTC scene was the best one. i miss the Towers a lot!

  • I didnt like the way he just stood there though. He didnt fight. Does anyone remember the ill-fated sequal to the 1976 verson, King Kong Lives it was actually better than the regular 1976 version

  • Cool, great idea for video

  • great work but look at the one from '33, king kong is very huge Oô

  • I think the '76' clips were highlights used in the beginning of 'King Kong Lives'. Barry's score isn't present.

  • yep they were I made this clip before I got King Kong 1976 so yep I used the king kong 76 footage from King Kong lives. but I got King Kong 1976 now :)

  • nice job!!

I don't get it..why did they use Stop Motion method to make King Kong movements...wasn't it easier to disguise a man with a gorilla suit?
