@ButtahscotchKisses I can definitely relate to your situation. I'm yellow too :p I have been using mac lipstick and gloss. I bought a pinkish coral color with bright pink dazzle gloss to go on top. It matches my skin and full lips very well. It was great all winter and I'm looking forward to using it this spring! You should look into it!
okay, so I've been searching for the right lip combo for my lip type. the lip liner/blend thing you did is a good idea. I honestly can't thank you enough for having this video, and the other red lipstick video you have. I'm on my school's Colorguard, (the people who do flag choreography with the marching band) and it's required for us to have red lips as a part of our makeup. The only red lipstick I'm touching these days will be the MAC matte ones. Viva Glam I, Chili and from the MAC Pro shops: Red Pepper and Charred Red. I like the MAC Mahogany lip pencil with red lipsticks also.
my personal opinion, red lips are never out-dated, they're a classic...i've recently started dabling with brighter and bolder colors and its all about finding your right shade...that is all...lol

Your lips are a nice shape. My red lipstick has to only be a brick (brown based) red and I prefer it to be matte which is why it's only MAC Viva Glam I with Mahogany lip pencil for me anyway!
Russian Red by MAC looks good on dark skin as well.

my personal opinion, red lips are never out-dated, they're a classic...i've recently started dabling with brighter and bolder colors and its all about finding your right shade...that is all...lol

I like the second look the best for full lips. Fuller lips need the shading and sculpting. Very nice. On another note, is it me or is red lipstick not new to black people? I have seen it done very well in pictures from several generations.

@sbonelli lol, yeah it take a wile to get the right shade. My NEW favorite red lip is MAC nightmoth lipliner and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics lip tar in NSFW. It's a lot darker then this version and I love it!

Well OK maybe besides Viva Glam I, I'd also try Chili and Ladybug lipsticks from MAC also. They both have brownish bases to them.

Your lips are a nice shape. My red lipstick has to only be a brick (brown based) red and I prefer it to be matte which is why it's only MAC Viva Glam I with Mahogany lip pencil for me anyway!
