When KC loses a game does not mean his opponent is a cheater! Kc is human like all of us, he has the right to lose and play bad games. This one was actually badly played by KC. He made mistakes that he wouldn't normally do. Blacks moves were quite obvious for a 15 minutes game. Even the queen manoeuvre in the end which won the game. I saw Qd2 followed by Qxc2 as soon as KC talked about Bc2. I was surprised he didn't see it, `cause he's stronger than me. He wasn't in good shape thats all!
it wouldn't destroy my world if he won this fair and square, but yeah... it looks like engine game to me, i'm afraid. i would be interested to hear from achu the conceptual basis for his stronger moves...
It's a shame you didn't take more time on move 25, as you still had plenty of it and i think you would've spotted black's reply to Bc2. My engine gives 25 h3 Qd3 26 Nc5 Rf1+ 27 Rxe1 Nxd3 28 Re3 Bc2 with an equal position/slight advantage to white.
@oldoddjobs thats not true, I just happened to be one good form that day, as KC said, 7 out of 9. Also KC didn't always play the most accurate moves the moves of mine were common sense, like Qb6 for example. I just finished reading a chess book as well so moves I made were just natural
@KevinR242 Hey if you want to be extreme about it shall we just say after Bxe5?! 0-1 - let's just say it was a forced loss after that with accurate play from black.
would like to see the PGN of this game. whatever white did wrong to get into that situation at the end, it went right over my head. i agreed with the commentary after 12. ...O-O that white had a small but comfortable advantage, agreed with the coming moves, and figured the rest of the video would be a nice karpovian whittling away.
@jaileroflove You should check out his previous game as White - really accurate play all the way too. It's in the description. Amazing for someone who is like 1300 on the minute time control and not much better rated on the 5 minute time control.
I just want to let you and others know that I do NOT cheat on the ICC. I played only 15 games on 3 minute chess which explains my rating. And I am really bad at 5 minute chess because I don't think as well in shorter time controls. That is why I play 15 minute. Also, most moves on my part seemed to be forced or the ones that make the most sense. Sorry if you think i'm being a bit forceful but I'm just trying to get the truth across.
Whoah! Someone rated at 1754 defeating a 2130 is a tough call for me. My peak rating would never reach 1800 and I have never defeated someone rated 2000 plus. Honestly, someone who spends more time on the first four moves comes rather "fishy" for me.
what an interesting game. I thought white was going to cramp black with the doubled center pawns, but black ended up with the overwhelming diagonal and file control.
what was wrong with your pawn to c5, attack the lady, the bishop takes pawn and gives check, etc., your two minor pieces were doing absolutely nothing - you're defending with queen only -
@jappievd Yes. If Qg1, ...Qe2 and ...Rf1. And if Qd1, ...Rf2 and black avoids perpetual check in an interesting manner - see if you can figure out how.
@dmitrishosta i would say by walking with the king, after 26. Qd8+ Kf7 27. Qd7+ Kf6 28. Qd8+ Kg7 29. Qe8+ kg5 30. h4+ kxh4 31 Qe7+ Kh6 32.Qxe6 g3 and no more check without losing the queen
In the position after move 7, isn't a good plan to get your b3 knight to d5? Maybe via d2, c4 and e3? I think I have seen that plan before. Also I think I have seen the knight parked on c4 for a while in one of your previous games.
I was saying to myself nooo at the end there because I saw the Qd2 deflection tactic! Made me laugh aswell because you were worried about the back rank before when it wasn't too big a problem and then when it became a problem you forgot to give your king breathing space :P
I was your opponent on this video and I have to admit I was pretty excited so sorry about the chat :D. I thought I was a goner after Bc4 but Qb6 saved me :)
@akshaj18 Yes congrats on also getting your all time 15 minute highest rating today, and winning 7 from your last 9 15 minute games. Amazing stuff. I just wished I didn't have to play you on your game peak today!
@numbcore, I didn't I believe most moves, if not all were quite obvious. I if did use an engine then my rating would be a lot higher than 1754. because I have played more than 300+ games on the ICC.
gg anyhow. Thanks for posting.

was f4 premature for this variation?..I don't know much theory, but I didn't see any advantages for white later on

@jaileroflove maybe exchanging queens instead of Bc4, but Bc4 hardly looks like it loses much ground...

@xactxx Also his previous win as White was really good and precise - Houdini 4th and 5th choices minimum all the way. See PGN in description.
