i have digital stream, rca, and insignia boxes. all worked the same with my home-made antenna until june 12. after rescanning with digital stream a few channels disappeared completely. other boxes still pick up those channels with same antenna.

hey, how many channels do you get? i have been playin with dtv also. i have that same converter box but at signals of 35 to 40 thay are a little choppy i hate that. i am in kentucky and have some hills betten me and the 40 mile transmit towers in lexing ton ky so i bought a antenna on ebay 2009 hdtv antenna good for up to 90 miles sholud be in good shape now. i have a satelitte also i am wasting my money. but i woant this for where the satelite goes out.

Please read the DTV site. You are not well informed.

Analog over the air is going away and being replaced with digital over the air.

The antenna is going to be continued to be used. Cable on the other hand, can use analog still, because it is NOT over the air.

This is very well fair, and thanks to the consumers who chose not to use their coupons before expiring, now the transition is delayed.

I have a great idea, I have only 7 channels with the combentional antenna, I USE THE SATELLITE DIRECT TV ANTENA and I get 16 CHANNELS.

BEST QUALITY AND SIGNAL.

REMEMBER IS SATTELITE SIGNAL.

Using a satelite dish on a DTV converter box is NOT satelite signal, and is very risky and dangerous. The voltage levels are going to be far different and can risk burning out the ATSC tuner in the DTV box.

Get a propper UHF antenna!

the digital stream 9950 actually have analog pass through capability inside the box so those tvs that have only one input.the box can pass through the analog signal without a splitter.

Yes i agree . i live in Orlando aswell and these things were pretty hard to find. esspecally the Zenith brand. so Digital Stream is accualy way better. i got my from the oviedo marketplace radio shack. im happy i bought DS DTV Box.

I have a tv made in 2006, yours look a bit older than that, but, I have to say that picture on at least mine is just like the HDTV. I don't have a superior TV compared to HDTV, but, Sony Trinitron screen's not bad and Converter Box backed by Terk HDTVa Indoor Antenna in Queens, NY works great. I had 3 channels, ABC, PBS, and UPB/WB barely working... Now I have over 30 stations 24/7 in SUPER-HIGH Picture and Sound QUALITY with DTV DTX9950 Digital Stream Box.

i got the magnavox one and i get 3 channels. NBC HD 7.1, NBC weather plus 7.2, and CBS HD 4.1. Someone told me if i lived on the 3rd floor i would get more. Guess i gotta wait till i move.

Use a UHF antenna on it. Works FAR better as the frequencies for the digital channels are UHF.

Most TVs have more than ONE input. If your TV has only 1, the TV itself is a piece of shit. Either way, they do sell AB switches, especially auto ones.
