If Froch was any good for real, he wouldn't have ALLOWED Dirrell to "run" all night. Just because a fighter gets on his toes and moves around the ring it doesn't mean he's jut gonna "run" his way to a decision. Footwork and effective body punches nullify that. Froch didn't show any of that consistently through the fight. When he found he couldn't touch Dirrell cleanly enough, he resorted to street tactics jus to try to inflict some kinda punishment on him. He was smart to make it ugly.

If Froch was any good for real, he wouldn't have ALLOWED Dirrell to "run" all night. Just because a fighter gets on his toes and moves around the ring it doesn't mean he's jut gonna "run" his way to a decision. Footwork and effective body punches nullify that. Froch didn't show any of that consistently through the fight. When he found he couldn't touch Dirrell cleanly enough, he resorted to street tactics jus to try to inflict some kinda punishment on him. He was smart to make it ugly.

Every fighters style is different in some way & styles make fights. Dirrell was soooo mouthy before the fight then never backed it up. He bricked it, ran and clinched round after round. He was better against the slower Abraham. He is a good boxer but just didnt peform when it mattered in the title fight with Froch. Like people say " the quiet ones are the dangerous ones". proves it in this case. Sigh....Yes, even many British fans think Dirrell should have got that decision. But you watch the full fight of Froch Vs Pascal, and ask yourself how Dirrell might have done in that situation. This young kid is really good but Froch has had much tougher fights and deserves a little respect for his acheivements...he was WBC nr 1 before Calzaghe went to america and he had to wait longer than Dirrell for a shot at that belt.

to me i thought froch one! the other guy was running for life because he was aware that was the only way he could go the 12 with froch. froch won the most rounds and thats why he won the fight.
