I really don't know why you get such posivite comments for this. Basically you've got only two elements in this song: That freaky melody and the drums. There's no punch to the synth whatsoever. Try shorten the release and attack, and try adding a compressor to it. Then change the synth sound, or even better: Sample the original.

And where's the bassline? Thought it was called "drum n' bass. ;)

The drums are too common. We've heard it a thousand times. Try programming some of your own beats.
