Duncan has been the best player in the NBA since Jordan retired. 4 titles in 9 years is amazing, that is as many as Shaq has in less time and Duncan never had anyone even CLOSE to the level of a Kobe Bryant helping him to his first 3 titles.

Tim Duncan is a shoe-in for the HOF.. 4 championships, 2 MVPs, 3 Final MVPs, and ROY.. Not to mention countless times of being in the first team and all defensive teams since 1997.. Its hard for the haters to accept this.. har har!!!

they both have their good and bads. KG is far more athletic, Duncan has great fundamentals n skills, both are leaders. If KG was in Duncan's spot, more or less he'd do the same. hopefully KG can redeem himself in boston. Duncan is also a great defender. So maybe duncan is little better than KG

naskilla1 please remember that tim has basically won championships with two different teams. In 03 David Robinson was the only other player still remaining from the 99 team. And in 05 Tim was the only remaining player. He's also carried over 40 people to a championship. Thats 5 more than MJ
