I will definitely check out your website! It is just pitiful what the world has come to. My dad and grandfather are farmers and we eat food that we grow and hunt. The farmers market has helped us a lot and I hope that the United States will do something about our health.
we share the values on healthy foods, we have discovered a product that can expel the toxins/preservatives in our foods, try this algae based product that emits negative ions & see the good results.
food preservatives are the realities of todays world, expel the toxins that imbalances our body then we can go back a more healthy life.
use this product to push out the toxins in your body and also of your loved ones!
millions already did as in my channels vids and was back to health, naturally!
The truth is nobody really cares about low income people contracting Diabetes. Public opinion about "the food issue" will change, however, when more and more higher income people contract strange forms of cancer from consuming GMO Soybean products. GMO products aren't traditionally consumed by people earning low incomes. When you start seeing television commercials changing the perception of Monsanto's position on GMO's, that will be the time that the corporation is ready to admit culpability.
I started growing my own food. what sucks is urban developments prevent self sustaining individuals. I have two rows of corn, a total of 32 stalks. got a 3rd soon
there is a huge difference between hispanics and native americans. I think she simply forgot about mentioning including native americans. that's cool we're used to that mentality.
The footage of the animal slaughtering was very tame in my opinion, but then I have seen 'meet your meat' and 'The earthling'
But disregarding how graphic it is, I think we ought to have no qualms with showing the footage to children. We can endure with our eyes what animals have endured with their bodies. Seeing the sad and gruesome truth can motivate people to give up or at least cut down on the cheap meat that drives the awful factory farming.
ie: If your buying a pasta sauce and it doesn't say "all natural", don't buy it! If it is All Natural, you know it won't contain corn syrup, because corn syrup isn't a natural product.
You should still scan to make sure. I read labels all the time and I can honestly say I know if a product contains corn syrup without even looking at it. Also look out for monosodium glutamate, or any kind of hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils
I already pretty much knew everything they talked about in the documentary in regards to the raising of our meats, genetic modification, and the Monsanto bully tactics. but there were plenty of things I didn't know.
google hulu (dot com) and search for the movie "The Future Of Food", like food inc it's a life changer,I have a link to it on my blog. It's about an hour and a half in length so be prepared.
Well i live in finland im not too concerned about this now. Our food is expensive as hell already so yeah even a cheeseburger is a bit over 2 bucks or something...I actually like to eat alot and i was like i wanna go to the states cheaper food but lets leave that for another time...
It takes a lot of money to make a documentary like this. It also take money to spread the word on whats going on. What do you expect?????? How are those doing this supposed to survive? from money that falls from the sky?
The worst part about this film is that the copy write owner has not allowed it to be viewed for free by the general public online. While exposing how dangerous our food supply has become as the result of money hungry people, you've also expose yourself as a hypocrite who's mind is diseased with enough greed to continue hoarding this film for more profit instead of making an effort to educate as many people as possible. This is a foundation for unity in this torn society.
There's no reason why the makers of Food, Inc. shouldn't earn something to cover the cost of the film, or even to make a profit. If film makers like them don't earn money from the good they do, then unless they're independently wealthy, they're not going to be able to do their work. And then we all suffer.
@1Submersible I am watching it for free online right now! You're just not looking in the right spots.. the whole documentary is available ONLINE.. Now go find it and stop being LAZY. Of course he's going to want to make a profit off of the film, it's a good film and he deserves it. Stop whining.
You hit an important issue Submersible, a very important issue. We live in a world where even if you want to do good, you NEED money to do it. And since you need money, anyone, even film makers, can be vulnerable to corruption.
I loved it! I knew so much about factory farming because I was a veggie for years. I have always taught my son how to eat well and wholesomely, and nowI am teaching my son how to eat right by purchasing organics and non GMO's :)
@ saltho2008 - that is difficult to say. I don't think this movie for anyone younger than 16, but you are the parent and you make the decisions on what your kids see.
There are scenes with the animals that is a bit disturbing even for me as an adult.
RightToWork07 - I totally agree with you. The Food Inc documentary is such an eye opener ... it's not funny.
I'm trying to find out when the DVD will be out to buy it and maybe I will see with the DVD company if I cannot do a contest on my site and give a few of those DVD to readers!
Food Inc is a very powerful documentary about our food and the related Industry particulars- a must view for all!!

?
You mean folks earning low incomes don't eat fast food?
Are you trying to say that poor folks don't drink soda?

Copyrighted food??? You gotta be fucking kidding me...No wait it's true FUCK!
You can't win a law suit against a food ind unless YOU ARE FUCKING OPRAH ???
This could be the plot of a futuristic scary movie but it's America's plot instead.
Monsanto needs to get burnt to the ground.

are u for real ?
avatar has made over a billion dollars and this film's makers are hoarding money ?
this film had ONE showing in ONE cinema in my city.
shitty avatar has taken over ALL of the other screens in ALL of the other cinemas.
maybe you should provide the finance for such a venture in the future (out of your own pocket).

It's not just food either, but it is how they "big business" look at us (people) as a whole, we are an expendable commodity as well.
It is a sad state of affairs!!!

WilkersonZC, thanks for the tip ... but I was not nervous at all.
Perhaps, there was sooooooooo much going through my mind and I just wanted to try my best not to forget any of the important points of the movie.
I was at a Slow Food event not long ago and we spent the entire trip outside of the city talking about Food Inc!
It's a monumental movie and my passion might be seen as nervousness.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
